TweetHello all Forum Members,
I am Nomi Malik, I am a freelancer and getting fat because I spend most of my time on the PC. My age is 33 years and my weight is 234 pounds. After gaining this too much weight I am worried about my health. I have no time to exercise and the gym gives me some tips.
Thanks

TweetWelcome to FG.
Don’t jump on any fad diets.
1) start moving
2) cut out sodas and sugary beverages
3) lift weight at least3 times a week
4) walk as much as you can, park further out…take the stairs, etc
5) increase your water intake

TweetThank you for the reply.
I try to take the best homemade food even I don't like junk food, soda, etc,
I spend some time in the park in the morning but do not have so much time to exercise, walk, and do other activities.
Should I use helpful equipment like we are watching on the TV ads?
TweetThanks, Admin to move me to the right place
TweetThere are a lot of things you can do at home to get moving and burn some calories. A big part of losing weight is going to be your diet. Once we nail that down, we can begin working on your activity level. Give us an idea of what kinds of foods you typically eat throughout the day.
TweetUsually, I eat homemade food, and mostly it's vegetables and chicken with wheat bread. I start my day with the bread and egg fried or omelet. I don't like cold drinks but tea is my regular routine. 2 cups a day 1 at breakfast and the second one in the evening.
TweetWell it certainly doesn't sound like you eat much. Homemade foods, vegetables and chicken are a great start and I love tea as well, so I think you're good there.
What I would do is focus on everything you eat throughout the day. The calories to gain the weight have to be coming from somewhere, so log everything you eat through a whole day and and post it. You can even create a diet log here on the board and that will give us a chance to chime in and suggest some changes and provide better guidance. From what you posted it sounds like you eat rather healthy, so I'm curious where the extra calories may be coming from.
Physical activity is something you will have to find a way to work into your schedule. You mentioned spending some time in the park in the mornings. You might try using some of that time for a quick walk or jog. Anything to get your heart rate up and burning some calories. That will not only aid your weight loss, but will be a huge benefit to your overall health.
TweetGoing for a run, hitting the trails for a hike, swimming, or even taking a joy ride on your bike are all considered forms of catabolic exercises. Although these exercises break down fat and sometimes muscle if done too much, they’re important for keeping a healthy heart and set of lungs. These are the best cardio for home which may help you in weight loss.
