I said when she first started she was a size 10 and had moved to a 6. Now she is somewhere between a 3-4 size and has gained a few more pounds. She close grips 155 pounds, preacher curls 70-80 pounds, and does 145 on tricep pushdowns. And, she's shrugging 185 10-12 reps for 3 sets.
We are now weight training 4 days per week and taking karate 2-3 days per week. We have a 60 x 60 metal building that my dad built a half-court basketball court for and we are moving all our equipment to it and buying some more so we can train whenever needed as our gym has limited hours.
Her goal is to compete in 2009. I see her getting there with no problems.

TweetThanks for all the cudos...I'll make sure she reads them. She goes today to get a new tat on her calf called "Steroid Taz", an image of a Tazmanian Devil all bulked up holding a chain in one hand and a baseball bat in the other.
I'll get some new pics posted to so you can see her progress. The other pics were from September of 2007. She has made much improvement since then.
She also took two more 1st Place trophies this past weekend in her 2nd karate tournament. She was 1st in Forms and in Sparring. She came away with a black eye but she loves sparring. I started training with her last night and that I was going to "check out" 45 minutes into the training session. I couldn't breathe past my throat and was seeing stars. The cardio and stretching in these sessions is amazing! It looked much easier from my chair in the viewing section watching her!

TweetShe just won 2 more 1st Place trophies in state-wide competition. She has competed in 3 tournaments for a total of 6 events, and placed 1st EVERYtime.

We are training in Karate Mon., Wed., and Sat. with our bodybuilding on Tues., Thurs., Fri., and Saturday afternoon. I have dropped from 12% to 9.8% BF in that time going from 226 to 219. My wife is now at 16% BF and weighing in at 157. Our diet is 60% protein, 30% carbs, and 10% fat eating 10calories per pound spread over 6 meals with one meal being our post workout shake. We use a mix of 50 grams of protein and 50 grams of carbs from dextrose.
