Tweetlooking damn good bro
TweetThanks for everyones feedback!
TweetRsol333,,,,, Very nice, balanced physique. Good work, however, your post say's " please critque". I can see that you're serious about your bodybuilding and it seems to me that the people that responded ( especially comments like, "your conditioning was spot on") by NB really don't understand the competitive physique well. First, like I said, your development and balance is very good. As good as you were you were not "ON" come show time,,,,,,you were not dry, the skin on abs can be thinner and drier, the legs weren't sharp at all. In the first pix ( keep in mind I don't know how many weeks out you were) the low back and oblqiue area is soft, if you were 4-5 weeks out then fine. Please don't take this in a negative way, believe me I just feel that if you come in lots harder you can be VERY good at the middles and if your so focused on being heavier it can hurt you come show time. Best of luck to you, you'll do well in the future.

Those pics were taking two days prior to my show.
I know were my weaknesses are now, its just finding a formula to correct it.
I always had a problem with holding water and looking smooth.
I am back to the drawing board and try to find a way to dry out my last week before my show. I am not really concentrating on being heavier, but one of my goals is to come in a couple of pounds heavier the middleweight class.
Thanks for the constructive criticism!

TweetRsol333,
For all of us that compete, it's a trial and error game. Good attitude, you're gonna have lots of success. Good luck!

TweetHow do you finish off your last week of dieting?
I drink 1 and 1/2 gallons thoughout my diet.
Last week I double my intake of water and start cutting back the last two days befor the show. Also, I cut my sodium out the last two days.
I used Aladctone but I started to get cramps so I stoped using it in the second day.
Also, I did not want to play around with my carbs so I just kept it at 50grams the last week.
Any suggestions?
TweetHey Rsol333,
Yeah, that last week can complete or break the condition. By one week out one should be very close to ready and in shape. It's for this very reason, I believe, competitors make many unnecessary and drastic changes. Of course there are MANY variables, but here are some examples of my approach.
Assuming I'm ready to go, which I better be, my carbs will never drop below 200 that last week ( At 12 weeks out my carbs are around 700 or so and they come down slowly over the 3 months.) By the last week the body is very delicate, therefore, I will only have one type of carb in the program at this time. At this time my protein will be and has been around 500. Like yourself, my water will be consistant at around 2 gallons throughout. For a Sat prejudge I would begin increasing my carbs on wed am.......When I do the # will go up over 600 within a day (1 type only, small but frequent servings. Because I'm not training Thurs, Fri my protein will go from 12 0z size per meal to 8 oz and maybe even 6oz per meal on Fri (chix or steak.) I will keep water in, on Fri I drop to 4 oz with each carb meal only............Carbs in a muscle will do nothing without water to pull in. Friday water total will be around 24- 28 oz............This is coming from regular 250 oz days throughout training. If I feel I'm far out I will use one half of a Dyazide on Friday am. Usually I don't need to but if. My regular program will be Friday evening one half Dyazide. Sat I will not let ANY water in. If I need to dry out more then another half only Dyazide in the am. Saturday I will eat some fiber free foods that are higher in sugars ( baby food, syrup etc.) Just a note........Stay away from Aldactone.......also aldactazide..........They're Garbage, throw them out or give them to a girlfriend to control water during her cycle.................NOT for a bodybuilder. Keep it up Rsol.........You look terrific and with some changes you'll hit the mark.
TweetNice shots!!!!
looking REALLY good!!!!!!!!!
