TweetLookin' good! Looks like those lats are already getting wide and the cables down the center are starting to thicken. Has he started dead lifting yet? What's his back routine? My early routine at that age was 3 sets pull ups, 3 sets strict barbell rows, and 3 sets strict deadlifts.
TweetThis exercise is part of his shoulder routine so he can strengthen the scapula muscle and tendons. He's a pitcher for his travel team. Right now for his back, I have him doing wide grip pull downs, seated rows and deadlifts. 3 sets each of 10-12 reps with very strict form. Starting olympic lifts with him this week.
