Paused squat 145 x 2 x 5 (+10 with good technique, got more)
Leg press 408 x 1 x 20 (+20)
It was another good day....man it stays burning up in our gym! My shirt is absolutely soaked when I get done lifting! Anyway, I am working my way back up on the paused squats. I had gotten to 175 but Ex pointed out (and I saw it as soon as I video'd the lift) that I wasn't even getting to parallel. So, I dropped back to 135 and worked on technique (got the new technique cleared by Ex). Now I am getting "deep" and starting the squat by sitting back with my butt instead of breaking the knees and stuff first. But I went up 10 from last week with good technique and I don't see any reason why I can't go up 10 more next week, we will see. The reps today weren't that tough. My leg press has finally hit a weight that I can work with for a week or two ( actually all of my lifts are pretty much at this point). I got all of the reps today but it was tough, so I will hit that weight again next week and the next until it gets easy. All of my accessory lifts went up at least 5lbs. It was a very good day!! Man, I wish my bench would go up like this!
