Thanks guns, it really feels good to be in there again. I am taking it slow and just enjoying the slower progress.

i dont know if you are doing it but a good log book will work wonders for you. keep you accountable and progressing. it is esp important to note how you are feeling from day to day. that way you can gauge if you pushed to hard or not hard enough. you can also keep an eye on if you need to move weights and reps up how you are sleeping and eating. it is endless. my wife uses the one from salt water wraps for training and then she uses a different one for her nutrition log. i ride the hell out of her about both of them haha because i have a hard time remembering what she has done and if i dont know then i have to push her even harder lol

You are so right! I also have the daily log book from SalT Wrap. It is a great ook and I have logged ut not consistently yet. Thanks for the reminder because I definitely want to make that part of the daily grind. With Fuzo getting his own stuff done and focusing on our daughters training, I have to kick my own ass. Any reminders are great for me, so thanks!~

Yesterday morning I slipped a bit into the old pattern, but I need that here and there, to remind me that I much prefer working on my goals! So I got my shit together, and did go to the gym. Day 6 of week 7! The physical benefits are so great, but it really is good for my head! Here is what yesterday looked like. It isnt a lot, but for me I have to go slow or my body takes days to recover.

      Back & Rear Delts

      Deadlifts – 4 X 8

      T-bar row – 4 X 8

      Lat pull-down – 4 X 8, last set is a drop-set

      Seated cable row – 4 X 8, last set is a drop-set

      Straight-arm pushdowns – 4 X 8

      Rear delt fly machine – 4 X 8

      Bent over DB rear laterals – 4 X 8

Cardio – 30 minutes medium intensity cardio

You have such a great attitude. So many of us want change immediately and get frustrated when it comes slow. Keep it up and play the long game! YOU GOT THIS!
