Actually, it's not fantastic, because I thought I'd be happy with 9% but I'm not yet where I want to be. So, I will continue on my current path. Looks like I'm gonna wind up going down to 190-ish. We'll see.

I tweaked my hip yesterday deadlifting (back day yesterday - if I deadlift it's always on back day, even though glutes and hams are worked just as hard or harder than back muscles...). I lost my concentration for a split second and my left hip and leg sort or turned out slightly. Nothing major, but I felt it a little at the time. By the middle of the day I had a nerve thing going on in my lower back amd down my leg, complete with twitching in my glute and calf. That continued into today. It's a lot better now, but still present. Hopefully it will be gone my this time tomorrow!

Chest day today, and oddly, I was stronger than usual this morning. My heavy sets on bench have been 275 x 5; 295 x 3; 285 x whatever I can get, usually 3; then 255 for 5 or however many I can get. I usually train alone, so no spotter. Today was no different, trained alone, but put 275 up for 8 reps; 295 for 5; 285 I only got 3 - if I had a spotter, I'd have gone for another 2 reps, probably, but didn't want to risk getting stuck with the bar on my chest.

Then my inclines with 80 lb dumbbells I knocked out 2 set of 10 no sweat; the 3rd set I only got 7 reps. But usually I only get 7 reps with 80's for all 3 sets.

So, not sure why I'm stronger while losing weight, but I'm certainly not gonna ***** about it! Hopefully it will help me preserve muscle...
