I upped my cardio game a bit today. I did 5min in the stepmill followed by 25 on the treadmill. Still basically low intensity steady state cardio but the stepmill in the beginning spikes my hr way more than the tread itself and it stays elevated for a bit when I switch to treadmill. My plan is keep following this pattern of cardio till it's almost totally stepmill. After just five minutes my legs were on fire. I may also throw in some treadmill push intervals as I go along for some shock value too.

I think I'm going to do masters over 40 and the open. I think I will come in around 189 to hit the top of the middleweights. That's 13 more lbs in ten weeks. However Disney is in 12 days so we can scrap about two weeks because I'll be gone a week and betting it'll take two weeks to get back to where I left off

i coached a classic physique guy for that very show last year. his first show and he cleaned house big time
I realized yesterday that this show is on the same day that my father passed away in 2012 so I feel that this show is my date with destiny. Wish me luck and I will try to post as much as possible to keep everyone up to date with my progress.

Thanks baby1. This vacation at Disney has been exhausting and obviously not helping me stay on diet but we are having a great time. When I get back Saturday night it'll be load em up, hit the sack and train Sunday am like my ass is being chased. I will not settle for less than first in the masters and first in my weight class in the open. As I have said before I plan on trying to get more detailed and regular with my posts. Going to get the wife to take some before pics since this vacation most likely brought me back a few steps. Then I want to do weekly photo updates.
