I stay in the bottom of the rep I watched a video a few years ago where Hany Rambod. Explained how he instructs his people to do them I tried it. And it worked for me. Guess you would call it a half rep. At the half way point he said quit moving the weight and squeeze the muscle. I feel a little silly explaining anything about training to you man. I'm sure you don't need my 2 cents
