TweetMy day started bright and early! 6:30 gainz, because I have class all day today.
Today was back/hams/calves day, and it was brutal. Started with a few heavy back exercises. We get to lift heavy again this week because we are back down to 12 reps instead of 20. I like being able to go back down every once in a while to really push myself and see all the progress that I've been making. But legs are my jam so the workout was killer today. We didn't do as much leg stuff as I would like because we had back also but it still was a killer workout and had me limping out of the gym.
We've started doing fasted cardio now. Because I work out so early in the morning, my coach said I can do my 30 minutes after the workout instead of doing 20 fasted and 10 after the workout. I love cardio. I ran a half marathon in November and it was killer! I'm so excited for it to get nice out so I can start running outside again!

Shoulders and abs today!!! I'm really starting to see improvement with my strength and how big my arms are getting! It's really rewarding to see some of this hard work paying off!! Arnold shoulder presses are getting easier. The first time I did that exercise I think I used 8lbs (I know, yikesss) but now I'm up to 12 which for me is awesome!! My shoulders are still feeling the burn from this morning! I had such a successful day of shoulders, that when it came down to do my 30 minutes of cardio I was dying! But that was so rewarding and I can't wait to keep it up and see what I can really do!!

arms today, there weren't many exercises but there were a lot of sets which made the workout seem like it took forever!! but man i felt it everywhere!! My upper body is the weakest part of my body so I always am sore afterwards but it's a good sore. This week has been amazing, in school and exercise!! Let's keep it up!!!

Leg day today!! My favorite day of the week and let me tell you, today was by far the hardest leg workout I've ever done! Lots of sets and lots of reps!! I was so proud I got 520 for 8 reps today and hit maxes on a lot of the exercises! I thought the superset leg curl and leg extension was going to be the death of me but I dug real deep and nailed it. Leg day always leaves me drippin'. This workout really set the tone for my day, I felt so strong and unstoppable! The only thing that was horrible was standing at work for 6 hours. Doing that after leg day was torture! But really getting those booty gainz and (literally) working my ass off!!

We had a team workout today, shoulders and calves. This week starts the week of 20reps of everything again! Set the pace for an amazing week I think. These next workouts are going to be killer, I mean 20reps always kick my butt! But my coach says I'm coming along and I'm already feeling better in my own skin and ready to keep making strides towards my goal. A lot of things are easing into place in my life and I'm glad that fitness and body building is one of them! So ready to rock this week!!

This week our coach decided to mix it up and give our muscles and joints a little break so every other day he is having us just do cardio and abs. I did my favorite elliptical interval workout for 40 minutes. The intervals are 2 and a half minutes at resistance 14 and 2 and a half minutes at resistance 15...it's killer. Talk about dripping sweat! Had to bring my pink gatorade towel with me so I wouldn't drown in my sweat. (: After that I had 5 sets 20 reps of hanging leg raises which proved to be extremely difficult after doing shoulders yesterday! Man, you think your getting super strong until you have to do that! Personally I love doing cardio, I was a cardio queen not too long ago when I was training for the half marathon I ran last November with my roommate. I really want to start doing that again, although I run about as fast as a herd of turtles running through peanut butter. But I'm still lapping all those on the couch!

Got my early morning cardio in this morning on account that I woke up super late! I don't think I've ever moved that fast before in my life! But got my blood pumping this morning before some chest and back! I got quite the workout because I didn't take very much time in between reps it was killer! This week is supposed to be an easier kind of break week, but so far it has proven to be a challenge.
I'm usually a patient person but waiting to thin out and get muscular is worst, it's worse than a child on Christmas Eve!! But all good things to those who wait!
