TweetI didn't realize how important my morning toast was until I cut it. I was starving all day. Coach says if you're not suffering you're not dieting. I am not a fan. I think I'm gonna keep my cheat meal though if I'm a good girl all week. Diet still not exceeding 1600 calories a day, but I cut where I can. Example no toast in the morning and 1/4 cup of spinach pasta instead of 1/2 cup. I think I'll dream about pizza tonight...
TweetI just ate 6 cherries. I have no self control.
TweetYesterday was mainly a success. The office ordered pizza for lunch which was extra cheesy and delicious and I said no. There were ridiculous amounts of leftovers but I was able to avoid it all day. I did end up cheating last night....went out to dinner to this seafood type joint but kept it under control. I did indulge a little in the shrimp tempura-esque appetizer, but I ordered shrimp creole for my entrée. Never had it before, but it was good. Rice, shrimps, veggie/tomato sauce and spices. I was a bad girl though, I ate the little piece of garlic bread that came with dinner all in all I didn't do so bad but I definitely cheated. Today is leg day though, so I'll use all that up anyway. Squat it out and bang it out later!! (Rob Zombie). Hope I can stay away from the whiskeys though....I've been wanting to drink.
TweetYoure doing great, 6 cherries is nothing! Now if you do like me, you would have eaten a whole bag of cherries and followed up with a bag of grapes lol
TweetLol let's hope the cherries and cheat at dinner last night is where the buck stops. I'm worried about drinking tonight. Whiskey has been calling my name.
TweetHappy leg day! Doing legs every Wednesday and Saturday or Sunday. Breakfast this morning was scrambled eggs: 1 egg, 3 whites, with a slice of turkey, 8oz of skim milk, 2 slices of turkey bacon, and a piece of toast (which I'm cutting out from my breakfast on non-leg days).
Training was as follows:
-10 min light bike warm up
-quad extensions, 5 sets starting with 30 ending with 90
-incline leg press, 5 sets start with 2 plates max at 4
-lying leg curl, 5 sets, don't know the weight cuz the stickers are faded but let's say half stack pull
-back squats, 7 sets start with bar max at quarter
-finish with 30 min of fat burn cardio on the stairs
I don't know why I decided leg day with a Rob Zombie show same night was a good idea, but fuck it!
TweetApparently I was completely full of shit last week when I said it was time to get serious and "no more cheating" and etc etc. I eat 100% clean all week and train my ass off, and when the weekend rolls around, I have a tendency to cheat. This weekend was one of those weekends. I had some kind of cheat all 3 days. Can't ***** and moan about it, I'm taking responsibility for it, it is what it is. I'm disciplined, but not enough so. Going to spend the week creating a few problem-aversion methods, specifically designed to get myself out of situations that I'm likely to cheat. Trying to find a balance between my goals and my enjoying my summer. Starting to think that with my goals, there is no such thing as balance and I'd better just shut the F up, train, suffer, and work. But I said I'd log my happenings good or bad, so here's the truth.
In other news, I was on a cellucor HD+CLK stack, which not only did I just recently realize I'd been taking it wrong, but I'm also pretty much out. I don't think it did too much for me. If you have any suggestions for a serious no bullshit big girl thermo/fat burner to pair with my eating and training plan, please PM me. If you have any prelift suggestions, I'll take those too. I love my superpump3D and C4 is alright, but I want to see what's out there. Price IS a concern, so in your suggestions please keep that in mind. Thanks for stopping by on this not-so-spectacular episode of Beastmode Bitty: The Chronicles.
Tweeti am not going to scold you because you already know what you issue is. now with that said i know you background and you laying out above is why you are having issues with the scale moving with anything other than 1600 cals a day. again like i already pointed out 1600 cals a day with your breakdown is starving you body and isnt effective method of weight loss. now the science behind what you are doing: you are starving your body for 4-5 days a week then refeeding it on the wkends with an excess of cals. now i see that you have a coach. do what they tell you to a t with no deviations no matter what you think or want to do. if you dont then neither one of you will have a clue what is or isnt working. nothing aggervates me more than working with a client that isnt doing what we have layed out because you cant pinpoint where the issues are. if you cheat or deviate then the coach needs to know so adjustments can be made

TweetBitty, only you know your body. You are young and want to go out and enjoy life, as you should, but then you have some goals that are very important for you to attain. You are right that you need to find balance and figure out which one is more important at this time. You just may need to avoid the situations where you feel you the urge to cheat. You cant give up going out and having fun but you don't want all that time you devote to your body to be a complete waste either. This can be overwhelming especially when you are young. We are here for you and can offer all the advice in the world but when it comes down to it....it is YOU that has to make the change.
We are here to support and motivate you but that only goes so far...I truly believe that motivation comes from within, and that is not always an easy thing to come by...but it is most definitely possible!

TweetRunning into some road blocks....changes in some medication along with catching a cold are messing with my body. Felt myself catching a cold on Tuesday and could only manage 30 of my 45 minute cardio session. I've been fighting the cold since then but I haven't trained Wednesday or Thursday. I feel completely fatigued and out of it today, stayed home from work, so I'm not sure I'll make it into the gym tonight either. I'm missing one of my favorite bands that are in town tonight as a result of illness. Not the best week, but hopefully the days of rest will give me that extra push when I get back in the gym, even if they were sick-rest days. Trying to keep my diet strict and more low-carb than usual to compensate for lack of training. Cravings for candy, especially sour candy, get really bad when I'm sick, which is unusual because chips are generally my downfall. I feel like I'm rambling. Mucinex is weird.
TweetBitty listen to guns he knows this stuff better than anyone I know if u starve ur body then have a cheat meal ur brain says hey we have not had fat in a mth we need to store this meal trust in guns unwill be happy u did I have been in the iron game years and he helped me achieve more in two mths than it took me years to do
TweetI've spoken with guns and although he has a solid point I'm in no place at this moment to follow his plan, because it would definitely come with an initial influx in weight, which is something I'm not willing to go through right now. We agreed that after the Other and during the wintertime would be a better time to experiment.
TweetVery good u will be be very happy when u follow his plan proud of ya bitty
