TweetFor whatever reason, I couldn't access the link. But, just the title of the thread is enough! Overtraining (especially when just starting out or coming off of a long lay off) is so common that it's not even remotely funny!
The human body can and WILL find reasons to get out of exercise if you rush it! "i'm too tired, i'm too sore, and i'm hungry and don't feel like working out" will all come out of an out of shape person's mouth at some point.
Ease back into it is BF's advise. Week one - 50%, Week two - 55%, Week three - 60%, Week four - 65%..... just an example and by no means a rule.
