TweetAnyone use Voltaren? It used to be only by prescription but now it is OTC, Its an NSAID, like rubbing ibuprofen on your skin. Its one of the few topical pain relievers that seem to somewhat work. I worry a little about long term side effects of using it all the time.
Sombra is okay. It is kind of warm. A lot of people swear by sombra.
Ive bought Marijuana pain cream from a dispensary that is crazy expensive and didnt seem to do jack shit for the pain.
What other topical pain relieve stuff have you used?

Tweeti like the voltaran for my elbows man. i use it twice a day when they get super angry and i also use a topical heat cream called equi block that's used for horses. i put the equi on my elbows shoulders knees and sometimes lower back before training. it will light you up like no one's business but that shit is magic for keeping tendonitus and just normal aches and pains during training down big time. again it is for horses and is brutal hot. a tiny bit goes a hell of a long way. makes any of the others you get look like nothing. the voltaran is good though and isnt supposed to cause as many issues as normal nsaids do

TweetNever used a topical pain reliever. I'll have to check into that especially if it has less sides than normal nsaids. I try to stay away from nsaids if I can, but this sounds like it might be a good alternative for the usual aches and pains.
TweetMy wife has a script for that for her nerve pain. I have used it for my tendonitis but it did not seem to do much for me. Good for arthritis or pain from Peripheral neuropathy.
Tweetwhat i have found with the voltaren is it doesnt take effect immediately. you wont notice anything for a day or 2. i know it says you can use it a few times a day but for my elbows i just dose am and pm. a day or two later and i can tell a difference in inflammation

TweetI have tried my wife's for 5-6 days and couldn't tell a diff. I am pretty injury/tendonitis/arthritis free right now...fingers crossed.
TweetI injured my anckle a few years ago and ever since I get pain whenever it gets cold, so I end up using a voltaren plaster or nurofen to reduce the inflamation. I did try this cbd balm (CBD BALM | Buy here our organic CBD BALM | Green Cuisine CBD) but to be honest I thought it was a bit too expensive compared to the regular OTC brands. Now I use a pain reliever I got from amazon, cheaper than the alternatives and you feel a nice hot sensation when applied.
TweetI stopped using Voltaren after I saw that it causes strokes and heart attacks just like Vioxx. Now I just rub some weed/cbd cream on my shoulder and it works great with no strokes.
TweetDam man really? Love my voltaren!

TweetCrap! Didn't know it was potentially dangerous.. Used it for a long time too!
TweetIts probably not that big of a deal but if youre at all at risk of stroke or heart attack, I would probably go easy on the voltaren. It is an NSAID and it is going to get absorbed and NSAIDS can cause some real problems over time. I still use it but not every day like I was doing
