Tweethow are all us injured folks doing?

Yep 'pain is temporary". Some peeps temporary is longer than others, that's all

Tweetive been told my shoulder is screwed permanently . I disagree . I will prove them wrong. not an option not a choice just will cause I refuse all other choices.. I believe half of recovery is state of mind the other half is blood sweat and tears you choose what you will accomplish. research reevaluate and recover.. remember failure is never an option
TweetI have never believed anyone who told me "You will never". Challenge always accepted and conquered

Tweeti am somewhat in agreement because i to have the perm shoulder destroyed thing myself and my entire arm as well. i have been driving though it for about 8 or so years now successfully. i can deal with pain yes very easily except when it hinders my sleep which it is now. but guess who will keep going till they fall over? this guy that's who. i was told when the original injury happened that i would never lift or compete again. wrong answer and i have been placing at a minimum of top 3 and winning most. so you cant even count out a wounded dog. some say pain is in the mind but damn if that is true during the day but not so much at night haha. i am being experimented on with sleep meds now and the first one i will say was unsuccessful since i slept in 2 hour blocks all night long and then all day yesterday. so first attempt was a failure haha

TweetFuzo has stopped bothering with sleep studies. he has come home from 2 already with only and hour of data which isn't enough.
The mind does play a part, imo. When one stops feeling like a "victim" the true growth begins. The sad thing for many this doesn't happen but my wish is that it would for all

TweetOne day at a time...
Tweeteven though i am already aware of the bad things that apnea does, the doc pointed out to me that on top of elevated bp and higher risk of obesity it can also enhance recovery and balance out hormones when corrected. that and killing over dead in my sleep bursts really isnt too cool imo. so hopefully i can power nap for 2 or 3 days prior and get a good enough sleep block in during the study to figure out what's up

TweetIt can really cause many health issues including weight gain. I wish hat would scare Fuzo more but it doesn't...ugh. I hope they get you sleeping again soon

Tweetwhat peaked my interest the most about it, is the performance based increases that it helps with. it can help increase natural gh and test release, decrease cortisol and a host of other benefits related to athletic performance. that was enough for me to be sold on giving it a go if they can figure mine out. the boost in that and sleep alone are worth giving it a try either way

Tweeti feel ya, i have arthritis in my hips, knees and ankles. it is not too bad but my right side SI joint is fubar. I still feel young at heart. I played ultimate frisbee with my teen son and his friends and another dad and it took me days to recover. the other dad dropped out after 10 minutes so I feel OK about that
TweetJust to understand is your insomnia and lack of sleep from pain or just the inability to sleep?
