if it is a hypo issue man first with your preworkout meal (30-60min pre)

50-60g of protein (fish, powder or eggs) something fast
60-75g carbs (rice cream of rice oats) low gi
20g of fats (almond butter, natty pb or coconut oil)

ok the setup above should slow down the release of carbs for the duration of your workout with the addition of the fats but keep your glycogen good.

intra workout: go with a couple scoops of vitargo, glycojet or prime's intra md. find a product with branch chain cyclic dextrin

post: 40-60g protein (your choice but fast is best)
carbs 20-30g of some fruit tossed into oats rice or even red potatoes.
or for faster you could just have a good protein shake with added carbs or fruit blended into it.

the addition of an intra with the bc cyclic dextrin should elevate the drop in blood sugar along with the good pre workout setup man. you really should have your bloods done to make sure you arent having pancreas issues though. i dont think your gall bladder would have an effect on your blood sugar since it many just produces bile and aids in digestion. i could be wrong on that one though. probiotics could worsen the issue with the gal bladder also so you may need to check that out too

maybe you are going hypoglycemic during the workout. try sipping a cup of 1/2 OJ and water to stabilize your glucose.

also how long have you been training. many new folk get this because they eat bad before training or just the natural way our GI tract shuts down during exercise. make sure you do not eat a lot before training and stay away from fats.

i googled it and this is the wiki.

jipped that is the exact opposite of what i have been taught over the years and recently learned a bit more about working with john meadows. you want fat to slow down the release of carbs during your training so they arent all burned up right out of the gate. a more slow steady release if you will. i guess food choices could make an impact but i have implemented it my way and his way and they have both done me very very well. even while utilizing slin in the mix

Here's just a side thought man. I get this happening to me and normally it's due to insufficient h2o....check that make sure your hydrated. It's winter and to be honest we drink way less in cold but you still need it and still perspire.

For me when my water is off I'm nauseated. Try it. Cheap fix if it works

i cant eat nasty foods at all prior to training. i always use almond butter natty pb or coconut oil along side of my carbs and protein and i feel awesome going in and i dont even getting nausea at all during training. maybe toss in a few tea spoons or a table spoon of pb or almond butter before one of your marathon fighting sessions and see how it does your energy release

hmmmm, i normally just have an apple or a piece of toast with humus an hour before.

i will try natty peanut butter on the toast next time. have not been working hard because of my SI joint issues but eventually PT will reap rewards and I will get to train hard again.

so the fats will slow the carbs so i have a more prolonged stream of fuel before getting into my glycogen stores?

that is correct man. if you want to slow it down even further you go with a lower end gi source like oats cream of rice or something like that. it works very very well and the cool thing i have found is that it doesnt feel like a brick in your gut either as long as you dont eat say red meat as a protein source

This happened to me yesterday! About an hour before training I had a pear and a protein shake. I wanted to warm up before training so I jumped on the eliptical. While I was on the machine took my PWO. I zoned out and did 25min and broke a decent sweat. Little much of a warm up.
After a few sets of deadlifts and could barely keep the room from spinning. I became ravenous hungry and had no cash on me so all I could do was look through the glass at the meal replacement bars in the vending machine, lol..
I relaxed, drank water, and slowed it down. As my body cool off from the cardio I was able to regain a groove and feel ok through a decent workout.
I don't think it was hypoglycemia but man, whatever triggered the nausea make me hungrier than a mofo.
