TweetFuzo has had 3 od them over 10 years ago and his shoulders are great ever since. Partial clavicle removal with that too.

Tweetyou are going to have to look at what your coverage covers and your co pay as well as deductables man. it is individual as far as the costs go. i would go in and get checked out then weigh the costs out of pocket. the ahc has helped so many lol. sorry for your injury though man and hopefully you will be able to get it fixed without breaking the bank

what im wondering is expected recovery time as well as procedure. Do they cut you open still or more microscopic today and ya ill ask the doc to but looking for first hand experience with having it done.

depending on how much of the rotator is jacked and how much needs to be replaced will be how much they have to cut on you. 99% of the time now they dont filet you open anymore though, it is normally very small incisions and that is it. it is much better than even 5 years ago. the recovery on a rotator is pretty lengthy though. if i am not mistaken heavy hitter here just had his done this year

It is a long recovery time. Well for me anyway.ill be 59 in Jan.
Each should had 5 incisions .get ready to learn to sleep sitting up for about 4 weeks
Second sure it was done January 8th it is still holding me back on my bench and overhead should lifts.
What bums me out is I will never be able to lift big weight again without a good chance of Re-enduring again .
Bench and overhead lifts Where always my big lifts 505 bench at 55 yrs old and long bar shoulder presses 225
Now bench 185 with pain enough to stop me.
Good luck to you. If you have pain at rest you should get it fixed . Life is much better pain free .

I miss heavy weights I can't even get the bar off the incline bench at this point without severe pain. This getting older crap aint right.lol.

TweetWell.. MRI finally came back bicep tear, tendon tear, cartilage around should completely destroyed and slightly depressed disc in neck. Good news rotator cuff is fine.hahaha. yup prolly shouldn't of waited this long.

TweetMan, so sorry to hear about your shoulder and that your insurance sucks like all the rest of them. You pay enough to have great insurance and they jerk you around like that and make you pay. These insurance companies should be ashamed of themselves.
Well, yes, if its that bad, get it done and rehab it and you'll be gtg.
I tore mine in 2003 and was told I had to have it surgically repaired. I simply could not afford to take time off from work so I never had it done. It definitely changed the amount of weight I worked out with but I can train pretty much pain free as long as Im careful. If I could have had the surgery, I would have.
