TweetWell dang, hopefully you dont have to go that route. Ive known people where it helps and some people who it didnt help at all. Not sure what the success rate is on those things.
TweetMy doc suggested an ultrasound guided nerve block for my pain from CT. Trying to decide if I should bother with it or not. Fuzo has had both hands surgically done for carpal tunnel and I certainly don't want to get to that point. I am just glad I am no longer doing hair. Its getting hard to hold things in that hand and for a while there I thought I broke my thumb until my doctor said it was all from that. After lil ones softball games, the pain is quite bad from the hard clapping, lol. Think I need to clap less and yell louder.
Anyway, I am not interested in surgery but wondering if any of you did the nerve block and if it helped?
thanks

TweetMy wife had the nerve block done it lasted her about 10 mths then the pain came back but she did have 10 mths pain free she had the sugery on both hands three years ago and no pain at all now
Tweetwith my accident and getting the surgeries on both hands that nerve block didn't do shit.If you truly have carpel tunnel get the surgery./But a lot of people think they might have carpel tunnel but its coming from your nerves in your neck to your hands and fingers. So the test will def help

TweetBeen about a month and I would say it is 70% better so I will have to see for how long. Doc thinks its from my cervical area though. Gave me a dosepak and suggested 2 cervical epidurals next time. That is a NO for me,lol. Dosepak doesn't usually help anyway. I will just deal with it but glad my hand is a bit better. getting back to the gym will be the test. have to remind myself to take it SLLLOOOOOOWWWWWW
