Re: Flossing With Bands...
One other use with the floss bands... Awhile back, I dropped 100kg when I missed a snatch attempt and it hit the corner of a crash mat. As a result the bar catapulted back at me and chopped me down by the shins. Needless to say, it hurt like hell and I had some massive swelling and bruising. I put the floss bands over the affected area about an hour after the incident and several times that day. I continued applying the bands for 2 more days -- regularly throughout the day, and the swelling along with bruising was nearly gone in two days, plus the soreness and tenderness was nearly gone as well. More recently, my wife accidently hit the side of her knee with a kettlebell, and I used the same therapy and she's moving without any issues after a day of applying the bands every few hours. The stuff works like voodoo!

I'm a firm believer in helping and doing anything that will benefit getting any range of motion or helping our bodies that we kill every day.I was told I would never bench heavy again,3 major shoulder surgeries and I proved everyone wrong with P/T .If wrapping helps do it

this isnt normal wrapping while training fuzo. watch the videos man, it is pretty cool for soft tissue induced joint and tendon pain. it also helps with muscle strains and some light tissue trama as well. i think someone already tried it with bruising

I wish I knew about this when I had my shoulder surgeries I would of used it to help. Once all 3 surgeries were done my ortho said bring my hands in closer while benching, inclining, shoulder press with the bar so its like working your close grip tris on the bench and Ive been doing it that way for about 10yrs now.Everyone thinks I'm doing tri's but Im really doing my bench press but its made my tri's stronger. But he was right ever since I brought my hands in closer on the bar,KNOCK ON WOOD, Ive never had any issues with my shoulders and I was told you would be the same again,HA proved everyone wrong
Re: Flossing With Bands...
Same here in a sense, when injured I bench super close for my size to take the stress off my shoulders.

got my flossing bands max and will be giving them ago starting tomorrow. i am learning that you dont use them as a warmup or in the gym. they are used mainly as a recovery rehab type of deal. so i am going to be working on them for a bit and see what happens. now if we can figure out how to work something like this into the lower back for tightness after heavy deads and squats lol

ok max. heavy leg day today and i did hacks which absolutely destroy my knees soreness wise. so about 2 hours or so after training i did above and below the knee 70% tension and 20 air squats for each. then i did it again about 2 hours later after that. no pain, no soreness nothing now and they were a little tender after training today before. so tomorrow i should be able to see how effective it is 100% for sure but as of right now, i would say it is good to go

ok max, i am pretty sure you have issues with your shoulder/shoulders. i have a very very bad issue with one of my shoulders that is pretty freaking nasty painful all the time esp after training chest and delts. so yesterday, i am testing out doing the flossing before training and then a couple of times after. so i did it yesterday and today and last night my wrecked shoulder is no where near as painful as it normally is. i would put it at a 1-2 on the pain scale and that's where it stays even when i am not training. so i would say that it is pretty good tool to use
Re: Flossing With Bands...
I may have to give it a shot brother, thanks!

After heavy squats and cleans, I use inversion therapy along with using a reverse hyper to help decompress and strengthen my lower back. Check out Donnie Thompson's low back protocol on YouTube.
