I'm not totally clear on the interplay between HGH and insulin and could not find the answer to this in any of the stickies or posts.

When you eat a meal -- anything, but especially one containing a lot of carbs -- your body puts out insulin to clear the sugar from your blood. So how does this natural release of insulin affect HGH that's taken? Does the body's insulin help or hinder the effects of the HGH?

I eat a small piece of fruit before training; just a little sugar to give me energy. Of course after training I drink a protein shake with a lot of sugar. I want insulin at that time to push nutrients into muscle. So would a HGH injection make more sense before (on a relatively empty stomach) training, or after training (when there's a lot of insulin in my system)?

If you want energy for your workout then you need low GI carbs, not sugar. After workout you want the High GI stuff. And on the before training/after training GH thing. You are trying to make it too complicated bro. GH takes time to work its magic and I really dont think it will make a difference one way or the other. On the insulin part of the question, well post me a pic of yourself and some training history and your current stats and your future goals and I will maybe give advice on it. I want to say that insulin will KILL you if you take it wrong. Unless you have reached a sticking point with gear and you are training for competition I dont feel it is a wise choice. I feel that if anyone is serious about taking insulin then you should have done enough research so you have no need to ask advice on the subject. Im not trying to be a dick but insulin isnt something to play with. Anyone that knows me knows I am one of the most helpful guys in the world, Post up that info bro.

yea i was wondering this question myself, I take 3 injections a day of HGH. I dont know if this is the optimal way of doing it but I really am getting good pumps and fat loss. I take 2IUs when I wake up, 2IUs before I workout then if I take insulin IM I will add 1 IU of HGH to the syringe and before I eat my last meal of the day I take another 2IUs and go to bed.

i dont think he was referring to doing slin bro...i think he was asking what the effects of HIS NATURAL insulin production arter a workout would be inregards to hgh. would it clear it out, upregulate, down regulate, ect....something you'd be qualified to answer regardless.

wow Dave, you are correct bro. I reread the post and I guess I didnt have my coffee that day or something. Sorry Minotaur, I see what you are asking. When you take GH for a period of time your body becomes a little bit resistant to insulin I am not sure why really but this takes a long time I believe, like years. Your natural insulin will not help nor hurt the results you get from your GH but GH will cause your fat cells to release that fat much easier than normal and you will loose body fat while on GH so having more insulin in your body at this time wont actually effect body fat much (i know you have read that insulin will make you fat) but can help to shuttle nutrients into the muscle and other cells to feed them. Insulins basic job is to open up the cells of the body so that nutrients can pass into them. Eating High Glycemic Index carbs post workout will increase the insulin spike that can help feed the muscle at this time when your body really needs to absorb all the nutrition it can. It sounds like you know what insulin does and I guess If it were me I would take the injection before I trained but I am not sure that taking around your training will help or hurt the effect of it bro. Lots of guys take one AM injection and one PM injection, might try that.I hope that was a better answer and if I left anything out please feel free to ask OK.
