To all my Vet friends and medically educated: opinions on best "something" vs nothing product to run following spinal surgery. Like most of you, I have some back issues. Recently, I had results of MRI's, Catscans and X-Rays reveal a serious issue with my #4 cervical. catscan clearly shows damage & I'm one wrong move from being paralyzed. That said, the solution is fairly common:Anterior Cervical Disc Surgery: they remove #4 and cage/fuse #3-6. 2 days in hospital and 3 months in collar. My reality: I have a very physical job. I don't work-we don't eat. Taking off three months means I will have to sell many of my work tools, offload business to competitors, etc. Not good. There is no rushing the healing: they place two screws in a plate to fuse the cervical. Basically, until that starts setting in, I'm at the pace of my own body to recover. At 52..it will take a while. That said, if I'm selling things off to support myself, investing "something" to accelerate healing makes complete sense. Not just accelerate healing a bit but also, a better quality adhesion of the plate/screws. My local physician came right out and told me that GH does the job. I have enth/test and have been on blast/cruise, but also have stopped that as they will be doing blood tests prior to surgery...which could be in a couple weeks. So, cheapest options for my research? GH? Peptides? How soon to start running? I might be able to scrape up $500-600 at this time as surgery could be a couple weeks away. Thank you for your knowledge assistance Brothers & Sisters!

you already got it nailed out man. i would say (make sure it's ok with the doc that told you about gh) test at actual hrt level (1-200) toss in 1-3ius of gh and maybe a cjc 1295 w/0 dac and sermolene to pulse your natural production a bit. that way you can save a little money on gh.

Thanks for the suggestion! Although I have done plenty of gear, I haven't done cic + sermolene. Any suggestion or read on how to dose/mix? I'm having surgery in 10 days now and am trying to hustle, plan and follow thru with everything as fast as possible. I'm gonna be in a neck collar too so already moving things up in reach. Thanks for any input

some will say take it multiple times per day blah blah i dont. you are already going to be using external gh anyway so 2 spikes a day are enough for healing and or fat loss. so if i were in your shoes i would go with your chosen dose of gh first thing in the am as soon as you get up. then about 10 mins or so before bed i would take 200mcg of cjc w/o dac and 100mcg of serm and roll with that. you can adjust it up a little bit if you want to but most seem to do pretty well at those levels. hell i have seen where anti aging clinics and aids patients are getting 600mcg a day of the serm. been a year or two since i read that paper but i can see if i can dig it up

      Spine surgery recovery accelerators?
Update; 3 weeks out of surgery and progressing well. If anyone has this type of surgery, I can def make some suggestions by experience.
      • Go into your surgery in the best shape you can possibly be. It also doesn't hurt to spend time on the yoga mat and get your mind right too
      • Plan ahead! I stocked up on cases of water and a month of clean food. If you have problems, you will wish you would have.
      • I also stocked up on BCAA's, Glutamine, Zinc, Fish oil, Protein. Yes, we all have this stuff, but it doesn't hurt to check your supplies and exp dates
      • Bring a shaker or two of protein to the hospital! They tried to feed me hospital slop and after having surgery thru the throat, swallowing was very difficult. The protein is the right consistency to sup on and slide down. Plus, after trauma, it was needed.
      • Bring a phone charger, headphones/earbuds
      • I lived 2 hours from the hospital and had someone pick me up. I left them with a couple water bottles mixed with BCAA's to put in the freezer so they could bring them with to sip on all the way home. This was another triple positive: I used grape flavor and it was amazing to sip + the coldness helped with swelling and last-it's what your body needs

Big shout out to GUNS01 for getting me straight on the info above. Following the plan with confidence!

Thanks for your input Fuzo. Will do! The biggest hurdle is being flat broke and dealing with no income. Mine didn't happen at work and worse yet, was not the problem I had went in to investigate further. It was caught on the catscan. Only reason I knew something was up was the feeling of electricity going up my shoulder and neck. I believe I'm progressing on healing but the keeping that as minor are the five lower back vertebrae in went in to check out. Sever disc degeneration + sever scoliosis + stenosis and a shit ton of bone spurs. That pain into the leg is crippling at the least. When I was in the hospital, I had my 3rd, 6mg shot of morphine and when they had me try and walk, the leg pain was not touched by morphine. I guess one pain erases another. Glad I'm good at comebacks!

Morphine does absolutely nothing for me. I have had two kidney stones in each time they have given me morphine and each time it has done Jack squat.

I was wondering, If at the "administration" level, if someone could low dose this simply to match the type of insurance someone may have. I qualified for "poor peoples" insurance and had this thought immediately when the pain was just blasting. Having been an old gear dog for over 25yrs, I've been low dosed and burned before (who hasn't?!) and became suspicious to a degree. I thought morphine was the "good stuff"!

The first time I was given morphine I was in the Navy so they had absolutely no do you need to low-dose it. It simply doesn't do anything for me.

TB500 worked wonders for me after my back procedure. it was not nearly so invasive as yours.

      "Introduction

Thymosin Beta-4 is a naturally occurring peptide present in almost all animal and human cells. TB500 is a synthetic peptide that has been directly linked to recovery as it is plays a vital role in building new blood vessels, new small muscle tissue fibers, cell migration and blood cell reproduction. If you are an injured athlete, all of these properties are something that becomes very desirable when looking to speed up the recovery process.

      Mechanism in Action

The main functionality of TB500 hinges on the ability to up-regulate cell building proteins like Actin. Up-regulation of Actin allows TB500 to promote cell migration and proliferation. This not only helps build new blood vessel pathways but also regulates inflammation directly correlated with wound healing. Its versatility even extends to its molecular structure and low molecular weight, which lends to its mobility and ability to travel long distances through tissues. This means when targeting injured areas (chronic or acute), TB500 has the ability to circulate the body and find those areas of injury in order to take corrective action. Added benefits of improved flexibility, reduced inflammation in tendons have been noticed, and some users report some re-grown lost hair (also reports of grayed hair darkening).

In fact, studies are being done which correlate TB500 with healing of the heart, in some cases repairing ventricular hypertrophy.

      Dosage and Usage

TB500 is distributed as a lyophilized powder that should be kept out of the light and in a cool dry place. Reconstitution is done with bacteriostatic water or sodium chloride meant for injection. Doses range from 2-2.5mg twice weekly for 4-6 weeks (some user have reported success in dosing higher up to 8mg a week but how much more effective this is yet to be seen) . Beyond that, one to two monthly injections of 2-2.5mg of TB500 can be further utilized to maintain rapid recovery and flexibility in strained areas.

For optimal recovery, a combination of TB500 with MK-2866 (Ostarine) should be used. This combination allows the healing benefits of SARMS and peptides to delivery maximum results.

      Side Effects

The positive attributes of TB500 include blood vessel and cell differentiation, growth of new blood cells from pre-existing vessels in dermal tissue, decreased inflammation and increase in flexibility. The flu like symptoms or lethargy/head rush associated with most peptides does not seem to be widely reported with TB500. Everybody is different, so always follow the suggested dosing protocols and practice sterile injection techniques. This will cut down on environmental side effects associated with injections."
