Anyone tried this yet? I've been reading and hearing great things! I'm going to be starting some soon in two spots. I've got a nagging injury in my shoulder, nothing that stops me from lifting but bothers me a lot. It might be a small tare or possibly really bad tendonitis. I've had the issue for about 18 months but nothing worth complaining about so I hope this might work!

Additionally I will be trying it near my surgically repaired right knee. I'm well over two years past surgery but still deal with nagging swelling and other issues in there when I tax it too much.

I'm thinking of starting off at 200mcg per spot per day. There seems to be some confusion on how long you can safely run it but I'm aiming for six weeks.

Anyone else tried this pep? I've used TB500 with "ok" results but this is supposed to be more localized.

      BPC 157 - Scientific study

This entry was posted on February 25, 2014 by Richard Blanchard.

From a technical standpoint, the peptide BPC 157 is classified as a pentadecapeptide. It contains a molecular weight of 1419.53552, and its molecular formula is C62H98N16O22. It has a purity of 98.06%, and appears in the form of a white powder. It is occasionally referred to by different names, including:

      • BPC 15
      • BPC-157
      • Booly Protection Compound 15

Composition and Functionality of BPC 157

Click here to buy BPC 157
BPC 157 is made up of 15 separate amino acids. It is also a partial sequence of body protection compound (BPC) that can be separated from the gastric juices of animal test subjects.
According to scientific study on animal test subjects, bpc157 has exhibited a capability to protect the endothelium; the thin layer of cells that line the interior surface of blood vessels. Additionally, the peptide has been able to display the ability to aid in the process of taking pre-existing blood cells and converting them into new blood vessels; a process that is known as angiogenesis.
These abilities have led scientific research on animal test subjects to determine that the peptide’s presence is instrumental in regulating the proper functionality of the digestive tract. Furthermore, it has been determined that the peptide’s angiogenic properties make it a key instrument in the healing of wounds and in the formation of connective tissue and miniscule blood vessels that develop on the surface of the wound as it undergoes the healing process. These properties not only help out in maintaining a regulated, impediment-free blood flow throughout the gastro-intestinal tract of an animal test subject, but they give the peptide anti-inflammatory properties, as well.
      BPC 157’s Anti-Inflammatory Benefits

The anti-inflammatory benefits that BPC 157 has exhibited have essentially become the focal point of a wide range of scientific study on animal test subjects.
For example, one of the bigger sources of study has been built around the theory that BPC 157 can be effective against periodontitis. This affliction is representative of a series of inflammatory diseases that affect the support and tissues that encompass the teeth. According to scientific study that has been conducted on laboratory rats, it has been determined that the peptide has the ability to reduce fluid leakage that may occur around the teeth as a result of localized inflammation. In addition, the peptide has exhibited a tendency to reduce occurances of alveolar bone resorption. What this means is it causes a significantly lower instance of calcium being released from bone fluid and entering into the bloodstream. Plus, these studies have demonstrated that the peptide’s inherent functionality does not disrupt regular blood circulation in healthy gums.
The peptide’s anti-inflammatory properties theoretically enable it to heal wounds on a significantly more efficient level, as well. Scientific study on laboratory rats that had their Achilles tendons cut transversely have demonstrated that BPC 157 caused the outgrowth of tendon explants to occur on a significantly accelerated basis. In addition, the studies noted that the presence of the peptide can also provide an increased level of cellular survival in the face of trauma brought upon by wounds.
BPC 157 and the Gastro-Intestinal Tract

Another theorized benefit of BPC 157 is linked to it being a potential aid against gastro-intestinal ailments. According to scientific study that has been conducted on laboratory rats, the peptide has shown the capability to lower the effects of esophagitis, which is a condition that is designated by inflammation in the esophagus and an increased difficulty in swallowing. It has also been determined that the peptide could in theory reduce the effects of various illnesses that fall under the umbrella of inflammatory bowel disease.
One of the conditions that the peptide theoretically combats is Crohn’s disease, a chronic inflammatory disorder that is caused by interactions between bacterial, immunological, and environmental factors. Another condition that the peptide is purported to alleviate is ulcerative colitis; a colon-based disease that is marked by open sores or characteristic ulcers. The reason that the peptide can be seen as a theoretical aid in this sense because of its interaction with the gastro-intestinal tract of animal test subjects, and how it acts as a regulating agent to keep the tract in a state of homeostasis.
      For Scientific Research Only

Even though there have been a host of research and study conducted that relates to BPC 157 and its functionality, operational mechanics, and its theoretical benefits, it should be noted that any of the research that has been performed has been done based on current scientific study based on animal test subjects. It is solely intended for the use of scientific study at this current time. Therefore, any observations or findings relating to BCP 157 and its overall functionality, mechanics, or theoretical benefits should exclusively be contained to the restrictions of a strictly controlled environment such as a laboratory or a medical research facility.

Really good stuff. Little confused that a side effect can be stomach issues, cramps etc., but the peptide itself can aid in gastro intestinal issues which can also lnk to stomach problems? But the anti inflammatory properties peak my interest. Deff looking further into this. Thanks 6p6 anf Fuzo for the info

Keep us posted brotha! The wound healing and anti-inflammatory properties of this peptide are very interesting. Could be a huge benefit to someone coming back from an injury. Definitely looking further into this one.

Ok guys time for an update on this pep.

I tinkered with some things. I am only shooting the shoulder but still hitting 400mcg at a time. I'm still mixing the ipamorelin with it but will be finishing first bottle tomorrow and leaving it off for a week or so.

The post shot did start feeling a bit more painful as the injections progress. I've also got some odd breakouts on my shoulder that aren't anywhere else on my body (and rarely are).

I've actually felt the shoulder has hurt worse since starting this. It's been stiffer and crackle and pops more than normal.

That being said strength and strength endurance is definitely up for me this week. I've gone heavier, better form and more heavy sets without my normal shoulder fatigue that I've been having.

Right now thats about all I can say. How much is placebo and how much is it really helping? Time will tell I guess.

Thanks for the update brotha. Looking forward to seeing how this turns out.

I'm wondering if your shoulder pain might be getting worse because you're lifting heavier with more sets. Could be a catch 22, if the peptide is helping you feel less fatigue, so you're able to lift heavier and longer causing your shoulder to hurt more than normal. Just throwing ideas out there.
