Yep thats who I am but what sux is when you finally ask for help and get none in return. Thats why I do not bother. I can count on one hand who is there when i ask

That's how it goes. Everybody wants or needs but nobody wants to give back, pretty funny how it all works. The world is filled with selfish ppl that only think about themselves.

Kind od why we are in the predicament we are in. I will keep on helping though, but not those who start to take advantage

yep me too. i actually dont even need a whole hand. keep the good ones because everyone else will use and abuse you to no end

The hand includes my parents and siblings and actually that woudld take it all up,lol. There are a few friends so I guess I am more grateful then I realize

So I just signed my daughter and I up to serve food for the homeless on Saturday nights at the church. We dont go to church anymore but I am all over helping the needy. I have been waiting till she was old enough to do this with me.

That's awesome! The world needs more helpers. Too many people with their hand out taking and not enough with a hand to offer.

i have always said i have many acquaintances and few friends. a friend will get up in the middle of the night to help you bury your dog who died or jump your car 40 miles away at 6am.

I used to think i had MANY friends, turns out I have a small, select few I call my family, as true friends, IMO are family we choose for ourselves.
