it wouldn't matter anyways a penny weighs about 1.5 grams or so which makes it's terminal velocity right around 60 miles per hour. on top of that the empire state building is tiered and it would never even make it to the ground. the penny even if it did make it off the building at teminal velocity wouldn't even break the skin let alone kill you. hope i helped clear this up lol

you also have to take into account the wind resistance and air resistance. I think it would be enough to piss someone off... kill someone I doubt it.

What is the terminal velocity of a penny? If it's going fast enough and hits someone just right, yes it could kill them. But, it would have to be going pretty fast to do it.
