I need an online site to get songs for the mp3 on my phone. Is it worth trying kazza and those type of programs to get them free, or is it worth the $1 to pay from a site?

Re: where is a good place to get music?
I go to limewire. I went through some thing and paid a one time fee of like $30 and I put it on my debit card so I have proof I paid to buy the music on their site. Downloading music is not where you get in trouble, it's when you give it away to others. So, always keep your downlaoded files box empty. You never want anyone to be able to trace uploads from your pc.

Stay away from Kazaa bro, I got all kinds of viruses and crap from that site. I formatted and reinstalled everything and my pc was all good until I reinstalled Kazaa. My wife uses Limewire alot and it has been good. No viruses or anything bad.

i have a samsung 920. if you use the sprint store its $2.95 per song. I dont know much about music files. its a mp3 player so i figure all mp3 files should play.
it would be nice if i can use the files off the sites that you can download songs for a buck.

Originally posted by cyberlegend1994Check your manual - if it also supports WMA and protected WMA files it will work with Napster, Musicmatch, FYE and others that cost $1 per song - most mp3 players (except iPods) will support WMA and WMA DRM (protected WMA) files. On the flip side, those won't work with iTunes - the only players that will work with iTunes are the iPods.
thanks, i wonder if I can have someone email me a mp3 file and see if i can get it on my phone.
