TweetTaurine is used at around 2-6g daily because clen depletes taurine levels in the liver. If taurine is gone, it stops the conversion of T4 to T3 in the liver.
Whats all this mean? Well if that occurs, you can expect some painful muscle cramps......
The reason I say avoid it is (guess this is more of a personal reason), I take BCAA's, upon my protein shake and Im getting a very large amount of taurine through that, so any extra supplementation for me isnt needed. If you have a mediocre protein powder and you dont supplement with BCAAs (I couldn imagine why you wouldnt), then yes, you need a significant amount of taurine in separate supplementation.
