On Sunday 16th February, the Kottonera Sports Complex hosted the Malta Drug-Free Powerlifting Team Championships. Charles Degiorgio together with Ryan Agius and Justin Said won the Team Championships for the second year in a row as Heavy Lightweights. Together, they exceeded 1,000 points and scored 36 points more than second placed Heavy Metal trio Mario Mifsud, Adrian Cauchi and Cleaven Cutajar. Mark Formosa, Daryl Psaila and Matthew Camilleri of The Pit followed in third place.
