"We are hosting this meet on November 17, 2012 and donating all of the proceeds to a boy names Austin Valentine. He was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor in August and his family is having a hard time paying his medical expenses. Detroit Barbell along with Kirby Church in Flat Rock, MI are collaborating on this venture. The Relentless meets were started in MN and the first cancer survivor and meet director will be out here to lift and help out at the meet. We are going to have a huge Silent Auction, Food, Raffles, ton's of kid's activities. It will be an APF/AAPF sanctioned meet. It will be streamed live on UStream.tv. We have XFinity's sport network committed, Fox 2 News and multiple radio stations involved with the event.More...
