Call for Candidates: Elitefts seeks volunteers to help finalize the Strong(er) Workout Program.
EliteFTS is preparing to launch the Strong(er) Workout Program and we are currently looking for volunteers to help take part in its final development.
Purpose
Training for competitive sports is a point in which training for health and fitness no longer is the prime objective. A complete, well-rounded program, for example, covers all areas—from cardiovascular and strength development to flexibility, mobility, nutrition and beyond. By contrast, a competitive sport such as powerlifting requires the development of maximum strength above all other areas in order to become a champion. Sport-specific training can significantly neglect other areas of training to achieve its desired outcome.
The question then becomes, what happens when the overall purpose and goal becomes developing brute strength, complete fitness, and a lean, solidly muscled physique? In other words, what does one do when they no longer have the need to excel 100 percent at one specific attribute, but rather, develop all areas at the highest level possible?
This is where the Strong(er) workout comes into play. The Strong(er) Athlete will sacrifice a studied depth in training to achieve an optimum and well-rounded breadth.
Testing and Feedback
In order to optimize the program under “real world” conditions, EliteFTS is looking for 50 volunteers (both male and female) who are ready to participate in helping test and finalize the Strong(er) Workout Program. Each person will help test a different phase of the overall program.
Applicants need to have a minimum of five years consistent training and be extremely ambitious—this program is not for the average gym member.
Candidates should submit a written summary of who they are and why they train. Additionally, no volunteer should be associated with any member of Team EliteFTS.
Please submit your summary (telling us who you are and why you train, how long, where, your program, and anything else you feel is useful for us to know) to: Stronger@elitefts.com
Dave Tate
P.S. I will be supervising this project, overseeing and advising all selected applicants throughout each phase.
I have created this program and have already tested it myself and a select small group of other people from various training backgrounds. This has already been ALPHA tested (to sound technical). This is the point when most would launch and sell their programs but I personally don't feel right about that until I have a lot more people go though it. While I have put a lot of thought, effort and my own training into this I know there will be more modifications to be made for this to be something I am really proud of.
