The 2007 Powerlifting Watch Powerlifter of the Year Brian Schwab, 165, totalled a personal best 1,950 pounds on Saturday at the APA Central Florida Open in Zephyrhills, Florida. Schwab, who also competes at 148, squatted 775 pounds, benched 565, and deadlifted 610 pounds. The total is the seventh highest of all-time. Schwab twice missed an 805 pound squat and 605 pound bench press which would have given him a 2,020 pound total. Here's video from the meet:
