  • B12 and Folic Acid Boost Memory in Stressed Adults

Too much stress is highly inflammatory to your nerves and leads to wear and tear. B vitamins are crucial for nerve transmission and are needed in higher amounts as your stress level increases. A new study shows that 400 mcg of folic acid and 100 mcg of B12 daily for two years resulted in significantly better memory function in stressed adults, compared to controls.

Only a fool would try to fight a war without a supply of ammunition. So why would anyone try to tackle high stress without a supply of B vitamins? This study proves the point. B vitamins, especially B12 and folic acid, are needed to keep your brain functioning when you are under higher levels of stress. Don’t leave home without them.
