is that the Cedric McMillan that competed in the late 90s mid-90s early 2000s black guy? I think he was a heavyweight maybe a light heavyweight? because I am almost positive I know the guy and I don't know him personally but I used to run into him at contest a lot and we used to talk he was a funny guy and that's a shame if he died because he was a good guy and he looked awesome he should have turned pro but he kept he just could not take that next step and back when he was competing it was so hard to turn pro you had to either win your class at the Nationals or when the overall at the USA or the overall the North American or the overall the team universe and that's it now you could finish first or second in any class of the USA same thing with the other shows and I think they turn people pro from the junior USA and Junior Nationals they may turn in pro worthless it used to be in the accomplishment in itself. but that's very very bad news if it's who I'm thinking it is I'll look it up myself but just hit me man I knew the guy.

I just checked it out it's not the same guy I was thinking of. it appears he had a heart troubles which honestly I can't count the amount of people I know from when I started bodybuilding that dropped dead between 45 and 55 from a heart attack. I could think of five off the top of my head right now. so that's one thing I am convinced of anabolic steroids are not good for your heart.

they are saying that cedric had heart issues last year but leading up to this event he had had pnemonia for a couple of months and would not get it treated. he was also taking care of his mother who is really bad off. aas play a role? most likely but he was still on active duty and they do make you do regular checkups and i am sure he did them on his own as well. i would like to think he did but we all know a lot of guys even the top level ones blow this stuff off and we and they know the risks of aas and how hard we push our bodies

yeah I didn't read the whole article I did read the part about his heart problem a couple years ago I didn't keep reading after that though. so I missed the other stuff you just said. so there's a possibility it was something else unrelated it's just hard to believe when you got a guy that big he was a big dude and that has been competing so long that if they die so young you automatically think it has something to do with it. but when I read the heart problems right away I thought of how many people I know that had heart attacks in the same age range.

every once in awhile I'll run into a guy from the gym I started at that I haven't seen in like 20 years and it seems like every time I run into one of these guys they tell me somebody else is dead that used to train there. and not because of steroids the place was a nut house I mean one guy overdosed on heroin I mean guy got into a fight at a bar and got killed and things like that also. but there is also guys that had heart attacks and died. still waiting for someone's liver to fail though never seen that or heard about it.
