With the multitude of 80's and 90's top pro bodybuilders passing away at not very old age such as David Dearth, Mike Matarazzo, Paul DeMayo, Andreas Munzer, Vince Comerford, Momo Be****za. Nasser El Sonbaty, Greg Kovacs, Art Atwood, Mat Duvall, Mike Mentzer, Greg Deferro and guys like Flex Wheeler, Don Long, Ronnie Coleman and Robbie Robinson having cray serious health problems having used fairly sane dosages of steroids over their careers, what are your thoughts on the health and longevity of today's pros who are using monumentally more gear and crazy amounts of gh and insulin along with whatever else to create living breathing Incredible Hulk like physiques? Ironically as big as the original hulk, Lou Ferrigno was in his day he'd be relatively outsized and overlooked in today's line ups. I see some early demises perhaps as people like Kai Greene keep getting more massive and thick waisted. How much mass can the average human heart support?

apparently Momo's last name got censored out as being related to a particular german group of soldiers that starts with an "N" and ends with an "I". weird censoring tools on here lol

The dosages some guys are using now days are insane. Just browsing some of the "youtube bodybuilding channels" makes my jaw drop. I mean thousands upon thousands of milligrams, and that's just one compound of the 80 they're running. (Providing what they're saying is true) It's like we've entered the era of mega everything. I remember when what the pros took was a big secret that we all wondered and only a few new the actual truth. But now, with youtube and such easy access to the old pros, they talk about it in interviews all the time. There are a few who took pretty high amounts of stuff, but there are kids today in their early 20s taking monumental amounts of gear that would rival some of the old guys. You'd think they'd reach a point where they'd start seeing diminished returns. Unless they just don't care, or are on so much stuff they don't notice.

true story bro. i see some kids maybe 19-22 who make no secret they're juicing hard and it's nuts, like dude, you are a recreational weight trainer with no desire to compete, and your body at this age is producing testosterone like crazy naturally, eat, train, sleep, repeat and you'll be as big as you want.
and yeah the dudes on youtube now, wow, i talk about what i am using on here but to the general public, fuck no. tight lipped AF about that.

i have some friends kids that ask me about stuff all the time. i tell them that they prob have more test in their system
being young but they dont want to hear that! they want it the easy way. through a pill or needle. they think thats the way its done.
no research on their part what so ever!

I would never tell a kid to ever use anything. unless they were at their natural maximum potential and its their lifestyle and not a phase!

if you do some digging man, some of those guys absolutely partied their ass off with all kinds of rec garbage mixed in. hell some of those fools even used some recs as fat burners if you believe the stories. toss in the diuretic use and the way people today have to stay stage ready with the harshes compounds on earth. that's where the majority of problems are coming from. most of your top tier guys really arent using that much, some do but most dont. they already have superior genetics and a little bit goes a long way. the rare few that dont and push the peddle to the metal are the ones that go away quickly and you named a few. i am pretty good friends with a 212 guy that just retired recently. he doesnt use anything in the off season whatsoever and barely trained at all. he only turned it up when going into prep a few weeks early and then it wasnt really all that high. that dude drinks like a fish too which blew my mind. no processed food or sweats but drank like i dont know what. he is actually pretty healthy too

For sure the guys that are having probs have done big doses. I am done with cycling. Even moderate supraphysiological doses of gear are not healthy. It is a trade off. these guys live fast and hard and pretty much die young. Hell carrying all that muscle is similarly as bad for your heart as being obese according to some studies. Not busting on BB just speaking real. It is a serious risk and if you say it is not then you are intellectually dishonest.

Again nothing but love, it is your choice, not mine.

I think they should worry about NFL football players far before bodybuilders.
Honestly, i dont believe they are taking more now. The guys then just looked so much better. I knew David Dearth well, i didnt know, any idea what happened?take last years top 5 and none could beat Ronnie, Nasser, Shawn Ray, Kevin Levrone, Dorian, Flex Wheeler, i could keep going but none of last years top 5 could come close to beating any of these guys
