TweetI've never gone that far, I will on my next cycle though. I'm sure you'll get some good responses on this though.
Tweetwhat are your gains like... do they slow down after a certain point? do you still gain mass? do you still gain strength? is it worth it? im asking because im thinking of taking my cycle to about 12-15 weeks. i just got some more shit and im thinkin if just carrying it out longer. i hear some people say that they dont gain anymore weight after a certain point.

Tweetrado im concerned that i might be wasting gear and bodily resources. i mean ive gained about 18 total lbs. im trying to increase my cals to keep the weight gain coming. strength is slowly still increasing. but im wondering if i am wasting time staying on.. i mean how much more could i really excpect to gain ya know.. but if someone tells me that they still gain weight and strength past the 8th week then hell im down with it.
TweetMy last cycle was 12 weeks and I wish I had the gear to carry it to 16 because I was really growing at the end. next cycle is 16 for sure!
Tweetjipped what were you on man?
TweetYour AR receptors dont down regulate, but you have to keep adding cals, or else you will be maintaining, the reasons why gains stop, is becuase people eat the same # of cals week 9, as they did in week 2 when they were 15 lbs lighter. After 6 weeks in, I add 200 cals every week until i come off, or become too soft.

Tweetyou can run longer cycles if u plan it out corrrectly. The older bodybuilders used to do low and long cycles and swithc the types so that receptor sites changed and maintained growth. An example is a 10 week cycle of deca / t-eth, then u switch it over starting in week 8 with winny running it for 6 weeks. You then switch tests from a long acting ester to a shorter ester such as t-prop and run it side by side with the winny and u lean up a bit and keeep more of ur gains. Sound Good?? BIG-G
Tweetwhere are you getting that from? i thought they did, i was taught that every steroid receptor, whether anabolic, corticosteroid, and mineralocorticoid could be downregulated... and i thought that your level of steroid binding globulin produced by the liver increased as well as your body's way of combating what it perceives as too much testosterone.Your AR receptors dont down regulate
dick
TweetThey do downregulate. However, I think you are right on about the calories issue. I just figured that out during my current cycle. Also, an AR receptor is an AR receptor. It doesn't matter if you switch drugs. They all use the same receptor.
Tweetbump for the night
TweetI keep gaining. I have been on almost 9 months now, and never stopped gaining. My gains have been slow and steady, low doses mostly. I got up to a high of 195lbs @5'4", decided that was as close as I was gonna get to 200lbs before competition diet time. Now I'm dieting, down to 177lbs and 9%bf, but from here on out, my weight will not drop by more than 5lbs, but I'll be down to 5% by late may or early june! That's what I consider slow and steady progress. If I win the contest... I'll be on for a loooooong time, and I'll keep with the same pattern. Change it up, keep your body guessing, and keep growing
TweetRight now I'm on wk 16 and up 44#'s. Strength has continued to increase since wk 2. The only wks I haven't gained any weight is when I backed off the carbs and cals. I didn't want to fat, just muscle. Between wks 7-10 that's when weight basically stayed the same, but the strength kept going up. Then from 11-16 increase again.
IMO is all about how you run the drugs and how you run your diet if you want a long cycle and to keep gaining throughout.
"Just be happy with yourself. Be happy to be alive, be happy you are not over in Iraq, be happy you have your health".
TweetI definately prefer longer cycles now. Not for a newbie though. Right now I am currently on 250mg test every 4-5 days but will bump it up in another 2 months or so to 500mg every 4 days for another 3-4 months and keep it at that. I feel the body can maintain it's strength and bodyweight better if able to get used to the drugs and the added weight and strength by staying on longer. True their comes a point where weight gains slow down but seriously people who worry about this don't know what REAL training is all about. Even pro bodybuilders have a point where they are not gaining 30 pounds obviously. It's not all about that. You should learn to appreciate any changes, any weight gains, bodyfat loss, and even just the experience of training off and on the juice. Most people are like, "Something is wrong, I gained 15 pounds in 5 weeks but now I only gained like 1 pound the next week.

TweetI've been at it since mid-December, I switched gears at the end of February, I haven't reach a plateau yet, still gaing weight but the BF is stuck at 7-8%. If you keep changing gears your body won't reach homeostasis.
