      Hey guys.... I'm doing my first show in 9 weeks. (31st of May) Just wondering who has expierence with comp's? I'm pretty lean right now 10%bf, but wondering when you guys started dieting really hard? did you cut out carbs all together for a certain amount of time? Did you take any diuretics a few days leading up to the show? Cardio? and did any one stay on test during there show? Sorry for all the questions.... just trying to get as much input as possible!

      Hey juice-monkey, I can't really help you, but I'm in your shoes! My first competitions are in June, so I'm about 12 weeks out, just started dieting. I'm also at 10%bf, hoping to get to 5% by show-time! I have lasix and aldactone if I need them, but I'm hoping Bouncer and some of the other big competitors will help us out Hey, you guys can PM me also... sorry monkey if I barged in on your thread, no rudeness intended
      P.S. What show are you doing, and what weight class you hoping to be in?

      I posted this for SC, he only had a few days to prepare. Since you have more time, you'll want to do a proper carb-deplete/carb-loading phase.

      Friday(today)
      ---------------
      No carbs - if you have already eaten some today, then thats ok, but cut out all carbs for the rest of the day.
      4 gallons of water
      Flaxs Oil 3x a day 1 tablespoon
      5000g Vit C

      Saturday
      --------------
      4 gallons of water
      5000g Vit C
      2000mg Dandelion Root
      No carbs
      1 tbs of Flax seed oil 3x day
      add 2 tbsp. glycerol in AM and PM

      Sunday
      ---------------
      4 gallons of water
      10,000g Vit C
      2000mg Dandelion Root
      No Carbs
      1 tbs of Flax seed oil 3x day
      add 2 tbsp. glycerol in AM and PM

      Monday

      Default best recipe

      i think the best recipe for cutting up is simply doing some AM cardio every morning, keeping carbs low and eating them earlier in the day and never before bed. eat lots of protein and drink lots of water to help prevent kidney damage. other methods might cost you more muscle loss with the fat.

      about 3 months ago i was down to 4.7% body fat. Now I'm at least 6% but back on my way down until i start my next cycle.

      if you take diuretics be careful b/c you can seriously fuck up your electrolytes which can cause serious problems. you can also become hypovolemic and pass out from lack of blood volume! i'd speak personally with a professional before doing that - not just through an email or message board.

      Ok i dont know if this is bad- but if i have to look good for somthing i hardly do cardio but ill trade shakes for meals and i lean up in like 2 weeks i eat breakfast only and do like 3 shakes and i lose like 4% bf in 2 weeks with cardio like twice a week and a 15-12-10 rep range. Thats with an ECA. It all comes back after but....
