Service Industry Taxed

TweetThis is just great. Now the talk is taxing the services across the land. From landscaping, limos, lawyers, contractors, etc...If you're one of the many businesses that offer a service...which a huge portion of today's market is services offered, it's looking like not only will you be hit as hard, or harder than retail, but those that hire you will be taxed too.
If anyone knows more about this, please, ad to or correct something that I missed.

They are seek new ways to come up with revenue. I would check with your local and state representative to make sure your voice is heard.

Our customers don't have to pay sales tax on our services, but we have to pay a local and state franchise tax. That might be another way they will try to hit you up.

TweetThis president plans to destroy everything America stands for and he's doing a pretty damn good job of it so far. Taxes on everything is what he stands for and that will boost unemployment to new highs for the remainder of his tenure. It is really sad that he can't just be impeached before he totally destroys our country. What is really unbelievable is that he has the audacity to try and convince people that all of his policies are going to help the small businesses in our country, when nothing could be further from the truth. However, as I truly believe, the majority of Americans are completely ignorant with regard to politics and don't even pay attention. I know people who actually think he's doing a pretty good job, but they have no damn clue about anything. Communists are running our country and they aren't even trying to hide the fact.

You're correct, from what I gathered yesterday. It's a state-to-state push by the federal government. Think of the majority. They're pushing the states, for now. I'm sure if the states don't fall in line, it's another easy piece of federal legislation though.

I know the type you are referring to. My mother is a very intelligent woman and highly educated, however she is one of those people from the 60s who has a very liberal heart. My statement about ignorance has nothing to do with a person's intellect, but merely there ability to rationalize fact from fiction, and to research both sides of a debate. Thus, political, economic, and historic ignorance are what Obama's supporters are infected with. I would venture to guess that the majority of those with a higher education (above bachelors) are Obama supporters, otherwise known as the liberal elite, e.g. professors and teachers. I should partially retract my statement and clarify that I don't mind hanging out with a democrat so long as they're not an outspoken left leaning Obama supporter. I know of many Democrats who merely vote that way for sake of their government or union job and I can't say that I blame them, however many of those are the ones who regret their recent vote for Obama. Believe it or not, I was a Democrat for several years of my life because I thought it was the right party to be with. After all, I come from WV which is a blue state (except for last year) and conveniently a state comprised of many unions and government jobs. Yet, after serving in the military and going to college I began to grow interested in understanding politics more clearly, mostly due to my interest in history and economics. I will admit that politics can be boring for many and complex, but the ones who have no clue about it are often the ones running their left wing mouths the loudest. They are supporting communist/socialist policies without even realizing it. This is extremely dangerous and must be corrected or we will be experiencing it first hand soon. The bottom line for me though is how can you love your country while supporting the policies of this president? That is a question I would like to hear a good response to.

Very well put. Politics is really a grey area for most. Most people will tend to follow after the politicians who they have chosen to masturbate their brain. Sheeple have an innate need to have their brains manipulated and masturbated...
