Tweetthey cant give you thinners or something instead of pulling and throwing it away??
TweetI saw a hematologist, got another pint of blood drawn off and another 7 vials for tests. What it basically comes down to it one of two things. I either have a fukked up Jak-2 gene that causes my marrow to produce way too many red blood cells causing my extremely thick blood or in rarer cases, a tumor. I seriously doubt it's the latter or my white cells would presumably be elevated as well. There is no cure for it, I'll just have to go get some blood drawn off periodically, it sucks that I can't donate it, they just toss it cause of the iron. I'll find out for sure what it is this week sometime, but he was about 90% possitive that it's the mutated gene.

Tweetwe have a mod thats a mutant! sweet!
lol, just trying to lighten the mood. well, i hope its nothing serious man.
Tweetso you just produce too much blood. What would happen if you didn't go get some drawn off? I guess i just don't understand but ill hope it's not the tumor.
TweetDamn, never heard of the such. Seems like a fix would be thinners but guess not.
TweetThat wouldn't work because my marrow is producing too many red blood cells and the iron content is too high so I can't donate. Sucks ass cause there's always a shortage of blood, but they cant use any of mine so it just gets tossed out.
TweetIf I don't get it drawn off, it accumulates to the point that it simply can't pump correctly and then I'm lookin at a stroke or heart attack. I found out about it by accident really. I've been having monstrous headaches, feeling lethargic all the time and my memory has been goin to shit. I went to the doc to find out what the hell was goin on and that's when I found out that my hemoglobin was way too high. For men the threshold is 18 and my hem. was 26. After two pints of blood were taken off I'm still at 18.2 so I gotta get some more taken out soon.
Tweetdamn bro i hope they can keep you well and healthy best of luck
