TweetWell guys I FINALLY got a chance for a job interview today and absolutely NAILED it. I am going to have "the talk" with my current employer tomorrow to turn in my two weeks notice..always uncomfortable..(actually I plan to explain the offer and my situation and see if he might offer a sweet deal for me to stay. What the hell I figure since I have a job lined up now).
Wish me luck as I go in tomorrow and talk to my boss Im nervous as hell, BUT soooooo soooo glad I will be no longer working 7 days a week!!!...and get ALOT of stress off of my shoulders!
Thanks for bearing with me guys with all the time I always have to spend away from the board

TweetCongrats Bro- but 7 days/wk pays dang good. Take a deep breath and relax- the ball is in their court now- you have no worries!
Tweetthat is good news! You're sitting in a great position. It's all business. I know it's easier said than done, but I would try not to be nervous about a thing with the boss. Just really think about how you want to present the situation to your boss, and it'll go fine.
Tweetgood job bro i know it feels good to nail an interview and get a good offer. Make sure if your boss wants to keep you there it's atleast 10% over what the new employer is going to pay. I say this because chances are after you have been with your new employer you will get a raise if you have been doing a good job.
TweetThanks for all the support guys...i really appreciate it..off to work now ill let u guys know how it turns out
Tweetgood luck

Tweetjust be careful with your company coming in with a counter offer. depending on your relationship with your current boss, accepting a counter offer may not be wise. thought is, the commoraudery (spelling?) and common bond between you and your boss is now broken.
on the other side, about 4 years back i did the same thing and accepted the counter. i was presented with a legal agreement in that i can not be termed unless malitious intent to decive the company, a raise and an agreement for a gauranteed 20% bonus. my realtionship with my boss has actually grown much better since
good luck
TweetCongrats on the new job offer. Best of luck talking to your present employeer about a counter offer. Hope everything works out for the best for you
