What does everyone eat for breakfast? Do you eat cereal because it's quick and simple, or do you eat a big breakfast because you like putting in the effort to have decent meal?

Usually a bowl of oats, protein shake/smoothie... it just depends upon the mood. For example, today I had a bowl of f/f yogurt, 5 strawberries, and a tablespoon of ground flaxseeds - plus a protein shake.

I'm such a lucky girl! My husband loves to cook and is awesome at it. He is also a bodybuilder and very into nutrition. Because I have to get up way to early in the morning, he cooks my breakfast at night, so all I have to do is reheat it.

Omelets (egg whites w/ 1 whole egg) with cheese, mushrooms, black olives, ground beef / turkey, etc. He changes them up with various spices, veggies or sauces. Sometime with Raga spaghetti or pizza sauce or mexican style with salsa.

1/2 cup of shredded potatoes or rice

(At this point in my diet, I don't get oatmeal.)

1 cup of oatmeal or when I get sick of oatmeal I have 3/4 of grits with cheese on them (copied this from ronnie coleman), then I just mix the egg whites with oatmeal or grits and eat it like that...quick and simple.. this time around I then start taking my supps and whatnot. 20 mins after this breakfast i have whey protein shake with a piece of fruit..and thats it

This morning we were out of eggs, so I ended up with baked chicken and shredded potatoes. Got paid today, so I get to hit the grocery store tonight.

It all sounds like great diet choices. I'm actually surprised that not as many people eat cold cereal though. There are a lot of really beneficial choices out there like LiveActive which uses whole grain wheat and a prebiotic fiber called Inulin. Has anyone heard of this before?
