TweetThats something I can't do but wish I could, I'm lucky to sleep 6 hours a night.
TweetAlright, I will start doing this ONCE a week and see how it goes. So far I feel very good. I'm talking about having one day a week that you don't do CRAP except sleep as many hours as you can. I did this last night. Slept from 5pm until 5:30am the next morning. I took all my supps, loaded up on glutamine... got up and had my protein shakes, went back to bed.
Right now I feel so rested. No yawning, no crash NO NOTHING.
Nothing can be more good for growth + resting muscles than sleeping good 12-15h a day...this is only once a week...muscles feel full and relaxed.
Try it.

TweetI may have to try that when I have nothing to do. I love sleep. Sometimes it seems like I just can't get enough. LOL
TweetI pulled a 12hr sleep one day last week. I can do it every now and then. It happens when I do like you did and fall asleep real early...sometimes I'll just be trying to get a little evening nap. I'll fall asleep on the couch or something, then get up and move to bed and sleep it on out. It does feel good. The way we run now-days, it's good to let the body try to catch up, but there's really no such thing as catching up on sleep.
You can sleep too long too. If you do that, you'll feel worse. You'll feel worn out all day. It's like you can't get going. I remember doing that in my late teens.
Tweetyeah, I went way overboard with the devil's piss.<--my little nick-name for it. I got to the point where I had to sleep with it on the nightstand by the bed because I would wake up every couple hours and have to cap up to fall back out. It got pretty nasty. I had a very unhealthy love affair with that shyt. It literally killed me twice.
Tweetthe only way i could sleep 12 hours straight is if i took 3 or 4 tylenol pms..... otherwise i get 7 hours of sleep and usually wake up 3 or 4 times during the night and roll around for 10-15 minutes until i pass back out
Tweet^ Famous last words....
TweetBump to that statement... although my little guy is sleeping through the night now... even so, it's impossible getting undisturbed sleep through the day with kids...
