The guy that rode out with me last night has a 2007 Daytona 675. Pretty cool bike. Someone was asking about that bike a while back. I've seen it online, but never in person. It seemed more appealing online. It is a good looking bike and unique. It is a 3 cylinder so of coarse it has a slightly different sound, but they are inline so it's still a smooth tone unlike the [V] design. It definitely looked narrower, from motor mount to motor mount, and I'm sure if I looked it up, which I'm about to do that, that it is quite a bit narrower than a true supersport. It has the center up/"undertail" exhaust, which always looks good, so long as it's factory. All in all, it's a unique bike. But that seems to be the never ending quest of Triumph.

If I'm not mistaken, it competes in the AMA Formula Xtreme this season, which the CBR 600RR dominates every year.

Dude the Triumph just doesn't compare with the reliability or performance of a Jap bike which is the same problem Ducatti and Buell have. Also you can get a ton more aftermarket stuff for the Jap bikes.. The only good thing is that they are unique, which definately counts for something.

you're exactly right. A couple points for individuality is all it gets from me. I'm glad to know it sells for less than the top 4 at least...or right with a Kawi...no offense to any Kawasaki folks. You pay 4 times the price with no more performance with a Duc. oh, but you gotta figure in the whole Italian thing.
