Tweetif you make the money buy whatever the hell you want.
after my warranty is up im doing the same upgrades, turbo back exhaust, cold air intake, and APR chip ecu.
TweetSo, I want to get a Performance Exhaust, Headers, Intake and ECA Flash upgrade....
Well, this is gonna cost about $3-$4000. Should I do this without my wife noticing?? LMAO... She does not want me to buy more toys for the car...
I have stocks I could sell to hide the funds... And I know that I could do all the work at a buddies (he has a teched out Subaru WRX). Since it is all under the hood and not seen, I could get away with it... Except for a BIG ARSE smile whenever I get in the car and the Vroom factor (Not the wimpy Vroom Vroom of a Mazda).
This will add about 50HP to my car and push me past the 165mph mark for Top Speed.
So, is it wrong of me?? I mean, she is cool with me spending cash on a cycle, just doesn't want to know anything (AAS.. not motor! Hahaa).
Merc.. You know anyone on your side that is into this stuff? Shop/Private garage???

TweetI don't know what to tell ya. That's your decision. I know that I've just bought stuff before without consulting the wife, but she knows that it's a given when it comes to performance. When it gets into the thousands, I think I'd have to mention it. Unless thousands are like 1's to you guys. There ain't no, 'not allowing it'..though, when it comes to cars and bikes with men period. She should know that by now. Girls learn that when they're toddlers. My daughter probably already knows that's a fact of life and she's 3.
Tweetuck the warranty...nah, but warranties cover in the direction of flow from [whatever] part back, that's why folks always throw exhaust on right from the showroom...there's nothing behind exhaust and who cares if the exhaust is covered, right? You can even throw a cold air intake on it, but if something happened with your motor, yank that cold air intake off and put the factory breather back on before you take it in because of where the intake is with 'the flow'...the first thing...so an intake would void everything behind it. See what I'm sayin? Same with a chip...plug and play. go ahead...it ain't hurtin nothin. but if something does go wrong...big deal. just pull the chip and take it in. Or get a programmer and just replace factory settings. Programmers save the factory [load] the first time you plug it up to your car. I love my Diablosport Predator. Diablosport is the computer company to go with for speed. They're all about speed where others may focus on...other things...whatever that could be,lol..

Tweetmy wife's not the "NO" type. even if she disagreed with it, she knows i wouldnt do something like that if i didnt see that the return down the road would payoff, and if it would put us in a bad position. she may go silent for a day or 2 (BEST 2 DAYS OF MY FUKIN LIFE!!! j/k), but she'd be fine

I LOVE BOOBOOKITTY...
Tweetactaully I think I might know someone in bellevue that does that type of stuff. He fixed up my old mans porsche a few years back, put in racing pistons, 3/4 cam, and a shyt lot more. I can see if he is still around...
TweetMy biggest prob is I bought 2 snowboards this season and rode for 30 days.. Also had a bad situation on the mtn (Shut up Merc) that caused me to get some heat now with my "extreme" lifestyle (She's even making em increae my life insurance now as she is realizing how I take things as far as I can... Type A personality-without the attitude).
So... I think a little more smooching might get me there.. If not, I'll probably do it and not let her know (which would be the only little secret I'd have)...

TweetDone a bunch of research... Apperently the best thing to do with a Porsche is to put on a better intake and headers, that's about a 20hp gain... I'm gonna start with that and then flash the ECU... Sweet...
Hey Chosen.. checked them out. They seem to specialize in demostic and asian... But thanx...
