TweetBanned from the pool for the summer and/or a written and verbal apology. If not get some young kids to tee-pee her house and trees
TweetI had to vent and would like some opinions on what I should do. I am the President of the Homeowners Assoc. here in my community so of course I get called when there is a problem. To make a long story short a homeowner got mad at one of lifeguards for calling her bad ass kids down at the pool and prceeded to make a scene. As the lady was leaving she asked her friend loud enough to where the guard could hear, "...and why don't we have skinny guards like we are supposed to?"
This 17 year old lifeguard is not heavy by any means but the real kicker is that there is a history of eating disorders in her family and her cousin is in the hospital right now due to anorexia. It is a very good thing the lady was not at the pool when I got the call just because I was so livid. I have calmed down now but I still think there has to be some type of repercussion for what she said.
What do you guys think?

Tweetdookie bomb on her front porch?
Ppl say the harshest things when they're upset. I hope she didnt mean it. I feel she was probably lashing out becuase her kids got called out at the pool for being ugly. Shame she had to lash out at a 17 yr old , when she is an adult. Just curious? was the lady present when the kids were misbehaving? I dont care where I am...I always watch my own!
TweetScumbags! People have no class these days!
Some punk kids in my neighborhood do so much crap. They egged my truck twice doing over $1000.00 in paint damage, ravaged our clubhouse, destroyed the tennis courts, vandalize the neighborhood, and even had the nerve to leave at the clubhouse a note saying not to bother getting prints because they wore gloves.
I actually caught them both times egging my truck and got the police involved. The parents were arrogant S.O.B's, and had no class. They were to oblivious to see it was their kid causing the problems in the area. The kicker is when any old person calls the police on the kids, the parents go to the old peoples homes and threaten them. The police do nothing about it because they are minors, and the parents won't punish them. I can't wait for the day one of those parents shows up on my door to give me ****t!
Anyway I hear ya Scalley, people can't follow rules, and are jackasses when they get yelled at for not following the rules.
Tweetthats it...ban them for the summer.
I don't know you.But I know your kind.
Tweetim sure the one making the comment wasn't a looker either...
TweetHope, you and I are on the same page. I spoke to the lifeguard personally twice. I apologized empatically on the neighborhoods behalf. I then went to see her ar the new pool she is working at today. I didn't want her final impression of our community a negative one. Along with that I did speak to her parents. The rest of the Board are putting together letters to express their apologies but also to let her know that there will be a remedy that is suitable to her and the Board.
Thanks for your comments. I am still lived that such a sweet girl went through this on my watch.
TweetLOL....that is the irony here. From what I understand this chick was far worse off than the lifeguard.
Tweetvery good point here. if you could find a reason to "fine" her in you papers, i would hit her pocket. at the bare min. i would make it known to her that an appology would be in her best intrest!
if you can ban from the pool for a specific amount of time, i would do that. i would make it known that, that type of out burst ABSOLUTLY will not be tolorated!

I LOVE BOOBOOKITTY...
TweetThe thing about that Mck, is that another lifeguard said that the lady and her friend were commenting to where the guards could hear them all day. I don't think this was just out of anger.
Im under the train of thought that if the lady has a problem with her kids being called down neither she nor them need to be there anyway. Her parenting reminds me of the type of parent that always says, "It can't be my kid, my kid never does anything wrong", until they have to bail that kid out of jail.
Tweetjesus christ you guys live in the US!!!!!!
can you use guns to shoot these ****ers
hell my canadian pacifist leftist ass does it!
three doodoo is back! Hide your women!
Tweetkids act like the biggest idiots at pools... especially when their parents just drop them off there like its day care.. i think you need to call the mom out infront and put her in her place....
pool isnt a right its a privilege.. ha
TweetI am going to have a word with this lady tonight. I will let you guys know how it turns out.
Tweethope said it 100% right
you can't help folks who won't help themselves, so this lady is just going to be a problem most likely, her actions are already telling you that, since you can't control her, and she hasn't harmed anyone physically or made a physical threat, you're pretty much hog tied
yet, as a leader, "first u must understand", thus, you watch out for your own folks, the lifeguard, she's the one who will put in 7 hrs a day, and protect peoples lifes, as u did, u need to let her know, she was in the right 100% and did her job despite the odds
good luck
TweetPenny lock her in her own house so she can't get out.
