Tweeti asked my pharmacist and he said in their book it says 100mg a day is recomended...
few days ago i saw on some thread someone say sometihng about 5g a day. i think that's crazy... (can u spell t-o-x-i-c)

5-10 grams
Tweetwell....just so happens I looked it up today because I'm experiencing acne and B5 is recommended at a dose of 10 grams to 15 grams a day (spread out evenly throughout the day) until the acne clears and then back off until you find a maintenance dose. Very individual thing the articles say.
Also, B5 is water soluble vitamin so there's no risk for overdosing....the body will simply expel what it doesn't need.
Tweetnot a typo... this is through research on these boards and then experience. i was skeptical at first but it really works. i hate acne. works differently for everyone though.Originally posted by BENNYBOOM

TweetPantothenic Acid is what it is called. GNC has 500mg capsules/100 per bottle.Originally posted by yamaha147
Is it called Bcomplex in the stores?
I have never seen B-5
Only B-6 B-7 etc...
Tweetno problem
TweetYup 10 grams sounds right starting out. I got 8 bottles of 100 capsules @500 mg each. For only $6 a bottle.
TweetThat was me who said 5grams a day. It works and it keeps me from using accutane again and the other prescription drugs for acne.Originally posted by LOCO

TweetNope but my skin is clearer and less oily and I don't have to deal with chapped lips, putting vaseline on my ears, applying non-comedogenic lotion.Originally posted by rollon
So does it work better then Accutane?
