TweetCarr was in an impossible spot with the Texans. The guy has talent. If Jake struggles early, I can see DC replacing him permanently.
TweetI think it's an elaborate plan to get Dellhome on the bench. First sign of weakness or inconsistancy, he'll be benched. Not like most guys they leave in to work through their problems. I think he's a patsy.

Tweet^ me either i actually thought he played pretty well, considering his team isnt the greatest.

TweetEveryone around here is going nuts. All the idiots in this town have been calling for Jake's head due to his play last year. They don't take into account he played behind an awful line, had no running game to help take the pressure off, and everyone keyed on Steve Smith. I personally think Jake's leash is a little longer than people think but he is almost 33. Carr is going to be groomed to be Jake's successor.
TweetWell... He also had keyshawn and keary colbert who are both good WRs and Delhomme still couldn't post decent #s... Although having a good line is the first step in having any kind of good offense.
TweetThe Texans took the defensive lineman (can't even remember his name) with the first pick in the draft last year instead of a guy named Bush. That tells you all you need to know about the Texan's organization. They haven't a clue.
TweetKerry Colbert couldn't catch his butt with two hands. He had maybe 7 catches last year. Keyshawn is good but not enough to keep other teams honest when it came to double teaming Smith.
Delhomme lead them to a Superbowl, went to a pro-bowl, and posted better numbers than Carr. Carr had no line but neither did Delhomme last year.
TweetCarr has had no line, no RB, no defensive support, and poor coaching his entire career. No QB could've succeeded in the situation he found himself in Houston.
TweetDon't get me wrong. I agree that Carr has had no support, but we shouldn't write off Delhomme after one subpar year. There is no doubt that the Panthers are thinking long term with Carr which is not a luxury we have with Delhomme due to his age.
TweetLook at Brad Johnson and Trent Dilfer. Superbowl appearances or victories don't mean dick. Scalleywag called it. They've been looking for a reason to get rid of Jake since last season. They just found their reason. I know Jake will get a starter roll somewhere else. Maybe Detroit or Cleveland. The Browns are ready to give up on Frye too.

TweetLoL the Browns have never had a QB.
Couch, Kosar, Testaverde?
I think they're cursed!
TweetYea, it has been about 20 years overdue for them to get a good QB
