TweetSorry to hear 007. Maybe in time get her another dog. It is prob the only thing that might help.
TweetHowever, our homecoming totally sucked! Because of all the snow in Denver our flight took an hour longer and it took 3 damn hours to get home last night. It normally only takes 1.5 hours. We had to go 3- to 40 mph the enitre time.
This morning my dog died without warning. He was a Greyhound that we rescued and he was only 8 years old. I let him out to pee and then looked outside and he was laid out in the snow, so I ran out in my socks and brought him in and he wasn't breathing. I tried CPR (which I don't recommend to anyone) but he wouldn't respond. We hauled ass to the vet and the vet said he must have had a heart attack, stroke or anurism (sp) since it was so sudden. The vet said there is only 1-2 minute window after the heart stops to get it going again.
Between this and the miscarriage my wife is totally in the dumps. This was really her dog. That dog loved her to death and visa versa. I've got a lot of work to do and I don't feel like doing any of it. The last 24 hours have all but completely ruined the joy I had from going home over Thanksgiving. I was able to hook up with all my old boys, I got to go to UGA and hang out, I got to see my Grandparents, I got to take my son to do stuff he's never done before and I even got to go for a ride in the new YES car. My bro who worked for Lotus hooked me up and we got to take the prototype out for a couple hours. It's like the Lotus Elise but a hell of a lot faster. It's the only YES car in the USA right now. All that was completely washed away by the last 24 hours. Today sucks ass, plain and simple.
Anyways, I'll be back to normal in a couple days....hope everyone's holiday was good.

TweetI hate to hear the bad news brother, but it can only get better. Usually when shiot hits the fan all at once it doesn't last long.
TweetYeah, she's already talking about how the house feels empty. Probably be looking this weekend.
TweetI hope so....I would like to have just a few months with some good. Between the miscarriage, my Achilles tear and this....this year kinda sucks. But, they say things come in threes so I'm hoping that's the three.
Tweetdamn bro tuff week ,look for brighter days to come by !
"Workout each rep till I drop the uglyiest , meanest face"
TweetNow that you are back lets talk about those Falcons. What's up with you boy Vick. $20,000 gesture the other day. Is this the begining of the end of Vick in ATL?
TweetSorry to hear about your sucky return! A new pup for Christmas should cheer your wife up?
TweetLet me put it this way....I had an offertogo with some bros to the game and they have season tickets on the 40 down in the lower level and I said 'no'. I'm not a fair wheather fan, I just wasn't going to waste several hours of a short trip home to get fustrated by that idiot. He's immature, irresponsible and over-rated! Period. He's been in the league for 5 damn years and he still can't run with the phukin ball tucked. WTF?!?!? He can't throw to save his life and he has 3, count them, 3 first round WRs. All he has to do is get the ball close to them and they will do the rest. I hope he gets the boot. I honestly hope they don't win another game this year because when I was in ATL all they kept talking about was how pissed Aurthor Blank (the Falcons owner and the guy who built Home Depot into what it is) is about the team. I can promise you this, Blank is not the kind of guy who will except mediocracy, if he did Home Depot would not be the company it is. When he went to Home Depot they had four stores, that's it. Now they have over 1,600. That guy will not tolerate the kind of performance Vick is giving and he will not tolerate the piss poor job of the Falcons coaching staff at preparing the second and third string players. When you lose a starter your team shouldn't fall into the dumps. But for some reason, they do. However, I will say this, if Vick could do enough with the ball to keep the time of possesion in the Falcons favor I doubt teams would be able to score as much as they have even against ATLs injury striken defense. Vick's ability to control the ball is pathetic. They punt more than any team in the NFL. That is a clear sign the offense is struggling. Here's the worst part....the offense is healthy! So WTF is their problem? If that offense had Brett Favre (from the 90's) with everyone else still the same they would be averaging close to 35 points a game. They have one of the best receiving cores in the NFL. They have a great RB's but the teams weakest link is Vick and until he goes they will never do shit. Schaub could come in and force teams to play the pass. By doing this Dunn and Norwood would have a field day running all over anyone. With Schaub, if teams play the run he will put the game away with his arm. Something Vick just can't do. Hell, Vick's got one of the best deep WR's in the game with Lelie and he still can't get the damn ball to him. All he has to do is throw it deep and Lelie will get it. Even Vick's deep ball sucks now. He used to have a great deep ball and now it's all of a sudden gone.
