Just wondering if anyone knows of any programs that let me manipulate audio to be able to hear the background of a cd better? I have a 911 cd of an accident I had and I need to hear the background of the cd better. She admits purposely hitting me, but the operator is talking loud and you can't clearly hear it. Any help with this one?

I have no idea, I would imagine though that there are programs available that you can buy for editing software but I dont even know where to start.

Hmmm....that's a tough one. Do you have any music stores areound you? Maybe you can find a place that records music and start from there. They should have the technology to suppress certain db levels so that the back ground noise is more prominant. I've seen it done on CSI and on The Fugitive (remember when they are listening to the phone call and they cut everything out except the train noise) so I know it's possible.
I used to have superhuman powers....until my therapist took them away.

That's funny! I was thinking the same thing. It's amusing how much we learn from tv and movies!
