Ummm, no.

They are tall and thin. Well depending on their habitat. People as a whole adapt to fit their environment, i.e. adaptation. The Inuit are a prime example, but thats a different discussion.

Fit, I agree with your gym buddies. Slave owners, when choosing slaves picked the largest most musclular male and female and forced them to "breed". They wanted the biggest strongest workers. Fortunately it bit the white slave owners in the ass, when the giant slaves turned on them.

Size and musculature were exactly what slave traders sought out in their slaves when they traveled to africa.

Actually, that's not true. The breeding of the sronger blacks was done, but as far as blacks having more muscle mass, is not. Look at Africans, skinny as hell! Look at Jamaicans, skinny as hell. Humans are humans. As a matter of fact, the most obese group of people are black women, so that does not sound like the result of more muscle mass. The only reason blacks 'appear' to have more muscle is the darer skin creates more contrast. Go to a bb show and look at the dude who is pasty white and he looks flat as hell, but tan him up and he will look more detailed, make his skin black, and he will look very detailed. It's all contrast between the colors and lights. The fact is, blacks originated in Africa and Africans are some of the skinnest people on the planet. That's why they make such great distance runners.
