TweetI swim but my college season will be over in late march early may but then i cut down the amount of time i spend training. I like to swim year round but not as hard maybe like 1-2 hours a day, 6 days a week and i get back to my normal off season lifting. Do u think it woud be ok to run prop with doing that much cardio exercise. do u think it will have negative effects on my heart? the training is as intense as during my season but not as long. I dont run anything during season.

TweetGood question! I'd like to know as well.
I was told that knowing the heart is a muscle, it will grow/enlarge if you work it hard when on cycle.
Obsessed is a word used by the lazy to describe the dedicated..
TweetMY understanding is that weight lifting itself enlarges the heart with or without steroids.
TweetIt makes sense that it would enlarge regardless of gear or not, however the amount in which it enlarges on gear would be the significant factor to worry about. Badasz, since you train cardio considerably more than most of us, I would be reluctant to do the prop. Either that or cut down on the swimming and use the prop...just my .02

TweetI found a discusion on this subject on another board doing a web search it involves Swales and a few others it might help clear it up a little

Its about all i could find that wasnt biased towards steroids being illegal and immoral sorry.
One other thing according to some of the studies i just read being that your both a weight lifter and a competitive swimmer your heart probably already is enlarged.
TweetHere is a portion of that thread which makes perfect sense...
"Weightlifting exercise alone can cause an enlarged heart and raised cpk levels.
In one study, I think done in Europe, which anti-steroid fanatics use to mislead people, a group of AAS using weightlifters all went through physical exams and results all came back showing them with enlarged hearts.
It was amazing how in that study there was no control group of weightlifters who never used AAS. Later studies corrected this flaw and found out... surprise, surprise... that weightlifters who never used AAS, also had enlarged hearts."
You can guess which study the media pounced on and which study was ignored by the general media.

TweetBadasz32, have you done a cycle previously to this and still swimming at the same amount? Also, do you have a past history of heart problems? If the answer is no, I personally think that using a moderate dosage of testosterone will not be a significant factor in causing any heart problems. There just isn't enough controled studies to make that kind of determination, as you have to factor in dosages, weight and age, and also condition, with past medical histories of each subject group. I would though, go with a long ester like cypionate or enathate so you can run it once a wk, but the prop will work too, just means more injects.
Tweetwhen i ran my last cycle, I did it in the summer when i only swim 3-5 days a week. I have no previous heart conditions. the reason for the prop is i want it to be in and out of my system. the detection time is 2 weeks for prop and 3 months for cyp or enth. the cyp or enth could cause problems if i was tested by NCAA. I dont mind the eod sticks. I was planning 150mg eod of prop and proviron and nolva through out, 6 weeks of t-3 and cycling clen 2 on 2 off for 6-8 weeks.
DO u think running HGH would be better for swimming.
I am 21, 178, 7-8%.
I heard that it would enlarge my heart and cause problems down the road. so i figured i would ask u guys. aand yes i have seen so called "documented studies" but i know they all have an agenda and a bias.
most endurance athletes run things like clen or epo, i can get endurance drugs but i wanted to know what would be the best.

TweetNot meaning to go off subject, but I've never ran prop due to a friend of mine was running it eod and couldn't stand the soreness. Is it that bad? I told him to mix it with something like tren or something and he tried that and said it still hurt like hell. I've been wanting to add it to a cycle but I hate to be so sore that you can't sit right or bend your leg cause of being sore. I've been through that with my quads from putting 3cc twice a week in them and I could hardly put my pants on cause I couldn't bend my leg enough. Question at hand: Is it that bad, or is it certain brands? And also of coarse some people react differently.
Tweetafter shooting t-400 i think i can take any mixture, but im gonna shoot 1cc of test prop and .5 cc of injectable b-12. if it still hurts ill heat the oil. all i can say is ill give it a try if its too bad i guess ill have to improvise. i have a high quality UG lab product so i should be ok.

Tweetright on. My bad. I thought you have ran prop before.
