How far in advance can pins be loaded. Is it fine and SAFE to draw up my gear and get all my shots ready on Sunday for the whole week. That way all I got do in the morning before leaving for work is just grab the pins set aside for that particular day and poke myself and go. It sure would save a lot of time and make my morning go easier.

I only preload mine a week in advance, not a big deal if you did it for weeks and weeks. It does not hurt the gear nor will it affect it.

I just don't see why to do it other than to save time. I just like to draw it when it's ready to I haven't done that(loading in advance) in quite sometime

I have always done this, all 10, 12, 15 weeks in advance. as long as you do each in a sterile manner, and keep the cap on the needle, you should be fine.

Well I leave for work at 6:00 am and I don't get home until 7:30 usually. I workout, eat and go to bed. I guess I shoot at night. I just always liked doing first thing in the morning right out of the shower

I believe that this is actually more sterile than only drawing when you are shooting. Think about it...everytime you puncture the needle, a bit may draw out and sit on the rubber stopper. If this happens each time you draw, and several days go by each time, than some serious shit could be forming on top of the bottle. This is what the needle has to go thru each time you stick the bottle. I had a "friend" who got a serious infection in his shoulder from this exact reason from a bottle of winny. Make sure you take an alcohol pad and wipe the top of the bottle each time before you stick the needle thru it.

Interesting theory, however certain types of Winny are more susceptible to bacteria, but dammit i can't remember why

Simple, it's aqueous (water) based and it depends on the amounts of BA/BB used in each version.

Another thing to think about is whether it's oil based or colloidal like winny. Oil will do fine but colloidal gear will seperate in no time and it's a ***** to get it properly mixed in the needle. I have a small infection right now due to winny that sat overnight clogging the tip and making me squirt too much when the clog blew (before I realized it was clogged).

I'd only set up oil based gear ahead of time.

Yeah, use a dull pin just once and you'll make very sure you don't forget again Unless of course you're really into pain.
