ok excuse me if i'm stupid when it comes to this shit.....someone told me that if i upload all my cd's into my computer i can resize the music into a different format and then burn it on a new cd....doing this will allow me to burn about 10 albums on to one CD....in other words i can take all pearl jam albums and burn them on ONE cd....does anyone know what the hell he is talking about...he actually said mp3 format...but i thought thats the way they were burned to begin with...

Yes, he's talking about converting them to MP3 format.

The trick here is that the CD player you are using must be able to play MP3's. Just about any computer will play MP3's.. so will alot of DVD players, and new car CDplayers. But you average cd player will not play MP3's.
RIP BigJim33 & GearedUp: You are sorely missed my friends.

Hindsight is always 20/20. But looking back it's still a bit fuzzy.

You can convert your CD audio format songs to MP3 format. However, to fit 10 albums of songs on one CD will require you to convert them to MP3's with less than optimum quality. (you can choose the quality level when converting them). Songs you download from the internet are usually MP3 format. If you have a really good system in which you are listening to your music, lower quality MP3's will sound like shite.
